Authentic busy at all times in Hampstead high street. Prices are also a bit high and in Hampstead there’s better pub food option. Anyway unique decor old school pub. Would love to try the rooms. 7
Great neighborhood fun pub in the heart of Hempstead village, northwest London. Reasonable priced varied lunch menu plus crepe options just outside the street. Rooms not rated because I didn’t stay there.
I had a wonderful stay at the King William IV Boutique Hotel! The decor is stunning, creating a charming and inviting atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend dining at the hotel; the food was delicious and a highlight of my visit. Overall, a perfect experience!
Pet- and animal-friendly pub (see pictures) near the Hampstead tube station. Past few times I’ve been, there’s been live music, which is good. Beer garden out back is nice. Prices not too bad considering the area. Agreeable staff. Will be back and can recommend.
I always enjoy this characterful, charming pub, and on my latest occasion was delighted to find the presence of two new pub cats, black, and apparently siblings, about 9 months old! The pub is intriguing as has portraits everywhere, interesting decor, and certainly its own atmosphere. I always like chatting to the staff, and on this occasion my visit cheered me up during a bad time. They have some cask ales, nice wines, and an appetising menu at fair prices. I look forward to my next vist to this lovely old boozer.
Dirty gents- no toilet seat! ( It's not a Camden market pub after all ) Miserable staff who faff about without attending and who clearly don't think they get paid enough to smile and be pleasant to customers. Horrible visit this time but manager needs to do his job better.
Nice room with comfy 4 poster(!) bed. All perfectly clean. Good tea. Friendly staff and good pub downstairs but quiet at night. I was worried at seeing negative reviews but for us this was great, would definitely come again
Love this cute pub with a gorgeous atmosphere. Perfect place to relax after a wander in Hampstead village and its park. Plus the lovely lady behind the bar likes my jumpsuit, ehehe, what else? Will go back as soon as I am back in Hampstead.
Probably the worst roast I’ve ever had, made even worse by the terrible and unaccomodating service me and my friends experienced today. We all ordered at the same time yet half had finished theirs before the rest came out - which was only prompted by us asking where the rest of our group’s food was multiple times. No apology offered at any point for what should be a basic expectation of going out for a meal together. We were made to feel like we were trying to con them simply by asking for the meals we were yet to receive. It took 2 hours in total for us to receive our food. Incompetent staff, poor quality meat and overall quality of food. Avoid !!!
Do not stay here. I booked a room for three nights and left after the first. To be fair, there were some positives. Hampstead is absolutely charming and the King William is very centrally located. The room was tiny but clean, and not as noisy as one might imagine. However, the negatives greatly outweighed any positives. Security was unacceptable: access to the rooms is through the pub dining room. The access door is not secured, allowing any pub guests the ability to come into the guest room space. The door to our room could not be secured because the skeleton key lock was loose and not functioning. The shower temperature control did not work and was set to scalding. Finally, the exterior window was broken and “repaired” with a sheet of paper.
