We came in for Christmas dinner just the two of us. The food was really nice, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere inside the pub. A really nice Christmas day and I would definitely recommend!!
We went to this pub for our lunch on Christmas Day and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome on this special day. The food was great, really good portion sizes (we took loads home for leftovers). The pub had a nice atmosphere, we had plenty of time and space. Overall we had a great time and I would recommend visiting!
We had a fabulous time in the pub today. Showing the England- New Zealand game had a great environment. My husband and I had some lovely burgers. Massive potion sizes and food was served super quickly. The best burgers we had in a long time. Could not recommend enough!
I recently went to the William Garland for drinks and dinner with some friends. The service was excellent. Michelle one of the management team was so friendly and welcoming a major she even found us a special table. The food was brilliant, service excellent and the ambience amazing, we’ve not been for a couple of years and the pub was so much cleaner, tidy, more welcoming, really high standard of cleanness throughout. This pub has really turned the corner so impressed will be going back for sure.
To the folks on the till, you are all heros in your own right! Great little pub, served by kind, cheerful and respectful staff with a selection on beers on tap and an excellent menu. See the picture, the food's in it for 14 quid! 3 starters for 14 was the offer and I am not kidding when I say they were really yummy. And there's a pub garden that we have saved for the next time we are around for a birthday party.

Excellent food, this is impossible nuggets (vegan) with Korean BBQ sauce and they are just delicious!!! I've asked for BBQ chicken and I've ate there before and was delicious as well. Highly recommended
Great pub with friendly staff and reasonable prices; They have a decent food menu and the food is of a good standard. Venue has a large beer garden and regular entertainment in the evenings. Toilets are clean and easily accessible; Would definitely recommend with a clear conscience! However- Can get a little noisy- So worth bearing in mind if you want to have a quiet meal!
Had a lovely time dining at the William garland for dinner. Massive thank you to the chef who was so lovely and welcoming. We will definitely be returning to dine in. Restaurant was a lovely atmosphere. Toilets were very clean. Food was lovely. Portion sizes are very big, which is brilliant especially for the price!
Nice to meet up with mate, especially with the garden outside. However, we did get showered a lot from the blossoming tree with seeds flying everywhere including into our pints!
