We had a warm welcome to the spa, and went for our treatments shortly after arrival. The treatments were great and the staff were really personable, skilled and friendly. The reception staff at the treatment area were also very helpful. We went to have some food in the restaurant - this was a real disappointment. We asked for a quiet table due to a health condition of my friend - staff were actively rude and unaccommodating. We were told that all the other tables were reserved (they weren’t), and when we asked again we were eventually moved. I can’t eat dairy, there wasn’t much on the menu that I could eat so I opted for fish and chips. There was something inside the fish, like leek and/or cheese and wasn’t enjoyable, and wasn’t mentioned on the menu. I left most of my meal. The service was very slow and not particularly friendly or helpful (so I didn’t raise the issue of my meal). The Spa was lovely, quite small and was a little crowded, there weren’t quite enough seats for people or places to hang robes. We were able to book a last minute visit which was very useful, but it was expensive for what it was, and with the restaurant experience, I don’t think we’ll be back.

I went with my 2 daughters for a morning spa experience and afternoon tea. The Spa itself is quite small and did become very crowded, not the relaxing experience that was expected. The treatments we had were very nice but very expensive, I'm sure they don't need to be priced quite so high. The lack of cubicles in the changing rooms was concerning so we had to get changed in the toilet! The lockers were all different shapes and sizes and mine in particular had a 3ft drop at the left hand side of it where my stuff fell into! We were booked in for afternoon tea at 1.30pm. We arrived promptly to be seated then forgotten. Eventually we were asked what we would like to drink. 2 teas and a coffee. 2 teapots and a coffee pot arrived. After thinking the tea was a little weak we realised there were no teabags left in the pots, they had removed them! New pots arrived a while later with teabags in situ! Afternoon tea eventually arrived at 2.30pm!!! It was horrendous. Various weird tastes and textures from the sandwiches and cakes. They were horrible. We ate some of it because we were so hungry but we were very disappointed! We were told they had new staff but that is no excuse for poor service and poor qualityfood. I expected more! . All in all a very poor experience of what is supposed to be a lovely place to visit. I won't be going again. My daughter paid a lot of money as a birthday gift for us to go there and I feel she was "robbed".

Enjoyed a wonderful meal here with family that were staying in the hotel. The food was amazing. The staff were just perfect. I had my 3 year old with me and the staff were so accommodating with her/us. I couldn’t fault anything. I hope to return (minus my daughter so I can fully relax) again soon

The featured superior room was well decorated and impressive but was freezing cold & never really got warm during our stay despite the heating being turned on and a portable heater being placed in the room at our request. Given it was 8 degrees outside, the heating should have been put on in the morning. The food in the restaurant was very good and the servers were lovely but unorganised. We could not have a drink after dinner because it was too cold

Excellent location for Sheffield and the Peak District. Super lovely on the phone and with any queries. Check in easy and so helpful. Anna in particular was very good and arranged everything for me. We had dogs and sometimes this penalises your accommodation, not in this case. Our room was stunning and clean and we were offered room servicing the next day which we accepted. We felt relaxed here and just wish we could’ve spent more time enjoying the facilities! Breakfast very good too and waitresses very accommodating. The grounds are very pretty also. Thank you, it makes a refreshing change to have somewhere that accommodates you when you have more than one dog as we too like to stay in nice places.

Spent one night here, and I guess it was just OK. The room was a bit tired and smelt old but it was reasonably clean. Managed to get into the spa for free and that was the highlight of the evening really nice and relaxing. Didn't dine in the hotel only breakfast which was poor. Service very slow and little choice certainly not worth the £13 that they charged for it. The biggest issue for me was the lamp directly outside my bedroom window shining in through the curtains all night along hardly got any sleep

We got married at Ringwood and stayed for 2 nights. It was the perfect venue for our wedding, everything was beautifully decorated and we loved the Christmas decorations that had been put up. Our wedding suite was beautiful as well, we really enjoyed the decor of our room and the bathtub in the suite. During our stay, we also accessed the spa & booked a treatment package. It was great value for money and we felt incredibly relaxed and refreshed. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and accommodating too, the service was impeccable!

This was my second visit to the hotel and once again I’ve had a lovely time, the staff are all lovely and friendly, and the food was amazing. I slept really well, which is rare for me, the room (130) was so warm and comfortable. We also used the spa facilities, and I’d definitely recommend them. The restaurant manager, Rihanna, really made sure we were well looked after, and she did it with a lovely smile. I can’t wait to come back again next year.

We stayed for a night on Saturday. From entering the hotel to leaving on Sunday, everything was great. The staff were friendly and informative. Our room was a good size and clean. Great choices for our evening meal. Plenty of choice for breakfast. We walked around the grounds before we left. Lovely place, would stay again. Mr & Mrs Eland

I honestly can’t fault this place, everything was absolutely perfect, the staff were amazing so lovely. Reminds me of the good old days working in hotels that family feeling. All the food was home cooked & baked, out of this world ♥️ even the beans were nice. 100% would go there again ♥️
