First time visiting and we was pleasantly surprised. Didn’t realise how much was there. Animals were out and come to you for food. Activities for kids to do walking round and extra surprises to collect. Great park with lots of seating, the staff are friendly and actually talk to you (which is rare these days) Santa grotto was good and the character visit made the day extra special as you got to spend lots of time with him and kept seeing him during the walk (blue alien) our daughter who can’t always control her emotions kept running for a cuddle but the elf and blue alien were very tolerable and patient with her which is a huge bonus for us. The butterfly house was amazing with so many butterflies and even a crocodile, staff fetch out other critters for show and tell and the elf workshop had lots of activities and party with blue alien, the elf was an amazing singer with a great persona around children. Honestly all 3 of us had the best day. Thank-you so much. Can’t wait for next visit.

Our second visit here and it was just like the first time amazing with lots of lovely animals to see, you can easily spend the whole day here, however on this occasion we went nearer the closing time and it was raining and not many of the animals were out but we still had the best time, they have so many lovely birds and the variety of butterfly species each one as gorgeous as the other. The staff right from upon entering and to the end were absolutely amazing and so friendly. Definitely worth more visits, and a day very well spent!! Definitely recommend!!

I loved the place. So much to see for every age. One issue. We has pulled pork rolls in the butterfly cafe. They looked good but we're swimming in grease. It meant that the rolls were sodden and the meal sat very heavily on the stomach. This spoiled our afternoon.

Such a great place even in the rain! There were a couple of animals like the armadillos that weren’t there which was a shame but overall it was a great place for all ages. We got soaking on the tractor ride which was a lot of fun but as it’s right next to the butterfly house we just went in there to dry off. I can’t fault the staff they were all lovely and because it had rained for most of the our visit you could go back into the office before you left and get vouchers to return for free.

I have been visiting the Tropical Butterfly House and Wildlife Park for 6 or 7 years now. In that time, I have clocked too many visits to count. I adore this place, everything is so close to everything else, so it's great for little legs. The facilities are great, café, shop and a Double-Decker snack bar are great, but the best thing about this place is the clear love and respect they have for the animals. The enclosures are spacious (especially for the Lemurs), and the animals are visibly happy and healthy. They don't have a massive variety of animals, and you can see everything in a few hours, but it's such a lovely place you'll stay to see everything again and again. I especially recommend it to fans of Dinosaurs. The play areas are very big and well maintained and best of all it is clean and safe for children of all ages (there are signs on the play park that show recommended ages). I love this little zoo, please pay it a visit, you will not regret it.

Plenty of parking and easy to get to. A great place for the day with plenty to see and wonder at. The butterfly House is HOT so don't go in with a coat on. There is everything from Dinosaurs to Butterfly's and everything in between. There's also a great selection of tropical plants and flowers in the Butterfly House, just take your time and enjoy the day. Well worth a visit. You can just pay and enter with no advance booking.

Fabulous place to spend a day with your family and kids. Definitely kids will enjoy the place and animals. Ticket prices are worth. Adults £14.99 each, Child £13.99 each. Have amazing cafe inside the park. But if you carry some snacks would be great idea.

This place is amazing! There is so much all in one place - it is literally like a miniature zoo. We had a wonderful time. There is a play area for children and a picnic area so there will be somewhere suitable to sit (which is undercover if the weather isn't great) if you want to take packed lunches. We had eaten before we arrived but wished we hadn't when we saw the menu for the cafe! The food looked delicious and the pods looked great to sit in. We will definitely be back to visit again!
