Fantastic place to visit, great food at good prices. Amazing location with great views from the venue, with the chance to sit there whilst having a drink or bite to eat and watching the small aircraft. Excellent service from the staff, with lots of different events on
A quirky, busy place inside the grounds of Barton Airfield. On the day of our of our visit no tables available inside. Our enjoyable food was bought to our pic nic table that was situated some distance from the building. Staff very helpful.
Monday evenings are very busy, motorbike meet night. Despite the large queue, managed to get served fairly quickly and food brought to table too.
A really friendly bar / cafe. Given all the different activities going on around the site, this acts as a lovely place to go to before and after. Staff were lovely and friendly. The ambience was relaxed and nice. You can go for beers after your event or coffee before, but plenty of options for you.
Just had afternoon tea and it was lovely with plenty of variety and excellent service. Will return soon
Been today for an afternoon tea, amazing customer service from the 2 ladies that looked after us. I had forgotten to mention I was vegetarian, and without any problem they catered for me. The food was plentiful and we brought half of it home!
Tanya was extremely hospitable, and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks, Tanya. We had the afternoon tea - which was a gift from our daughter. It was hearty and well presented. A busy and cheerful place on a Tuesday afternoon, with the added benefit of the airfield.
I don't know what's happened to the food, but last time I went there before Christmas a chicken burger was decent chicken, salad, coleslaw and good fries. This time I was presented with a dry Farmfoods chicken nugget in a bap. Kids meal wasn't much better. Weve always enjoyed coming here but since changing to VG bar and grill the quality has nosedived! Clean though and the staff are nice.
Bought a Groupon afternoon tea voucher for my nanna and her friend, and she said it was lovely. Really nice portions and great value for money. Really attentive staff and great service
Little man ate free because we got an adults meal during the school holidays which was a really nice plus (thanks Rashford!). We had a fair wait and had to chase a few things but it was busy and they fixed it right away which was a plus. Pram safe, toilets alright (+ disabled), food nice and cheap. Decor inside was totally unexpected and really nice. Play area for kids right outside restaurant and has a little shop. Will defo be back.
