I've used Douglas Compton a couple of times now and have been very happy with their service. They are very reasonably priced. They went above and beyond recently to diagnose an obscure fault with my car. I'm really happy with them and highly recommend them to anyone.
Knowledgeable, competitively priced, cheaper than main dealers and more friendly, they take time to explain work that needs to be done/has been done, won't do unnecessary work on your car and will explore cheaper alternatives, nothing too much trouble. I've had 5 or 6 different cars serviced here over the years and the very fact they've been trading in same location for so long shows they put reputation and customer service first.
This is a gem of a garage! They are very friendly and knowledgeable and put their reputation and customer service before profit. They are extremely busy so it is always best to book in advance but they have always tried to help me as soon as they can. Very reasonably priced, good communication and a nice atmosphere.
This is the first time we have used Douglas Compton, and we will definitely use them again. Our car was booked in for a fault, but broke down 5 days before. They had the car fixed and working perfectly before it was even supposed to be looked at. Above and beyond. Thanks!
Had my car recently serviced here and - although there was a bit of a wait for an appointment (probably tells how good they are), they were really good, courteous and service was completed in a reasonable time.
I left work early for a change, 5 mins down the road I discovered my tyre was flat. I parked up and went to Douglas Compton. They were closed but offered to put air in the tyre, when that didn't work, they offered to change the tyre using my spare. My spare wasn't a spare as it didn't fit (Ladies always check your spare). They put air into the original tyre and had to bang the metal bit into submission to stop the air coming out. I was so emotional that these men took the time to help a lady out. Who said chivalry was dead! No, it's alive and kicking at Douglas Compton. Thank you all for going out of your way to help me get home safely.
Cannot Recommend this garage enough, They went above and beyond to help with my car. Customer service is fantastic.. Highly recommend, good price and good service.. Will defo use again :-)
Strongly recommend this garage. Service was the best I have ever had. The boys knew their stuff. Jo kept me updated throughout. I was surprised with a reasonable bill which I expected to be more!
