    Very bad service booked in advance for cab service to and from The Best Western Hotel Chigwell. Driver on arrival was rude and drove like a lunatic managed to get to our venue safely in one piece, thank god. For our return journey missed call from driver when I rang back no pick up after several failed calls. Called Masons said they had no available car to take us back to the hotel. The call handler was down right rude hung up when we tried to explain what had happened. Had I been a single female on my own I would have been stranded in an unfamiliar area. Would not recommend service very slap dash with no consideration for clients. Take a journey with them your life is in danger. Think twice before making a booking unreliable!!!!!

    I’ve taken 4 journeys with Masons in Woodford (two round trips to the airport), and on three of those occasions the driver insisted on cash payment, then becoming annoyed and rude when I said I could only pay by card. They claim I had agreed to pay cash during the booking, which I hadn’t and was never told at any point to pay by cash. Then every single time they tried to increase the fare by an extra £3–£5 on top of the quoted price, assuming I wouldn’t notice. When I challenged it, I was given excuses like “I had to wait 10 minutes for you” (when they arrived 10 mins earlier than the booking time) or “it costs more if you’re not paying in cash” or just outright lie and say the inflated price is the quoted price when I have it in my booking confirmation the lower price. Super annoying and ridiculous. Please tell your drivers to stop trying to scam passengers!!

    Driver arrived at my flight arrival time and then got annoyed I was not quick enough. Then as I was waiting as passport sent me odd messages and chat. 1 min later head office cancelled the taxi due to ‘puncture’ - the tracker that masons used offered a different story to this puncture. Terrible customer service and sadly the rude behavior and impatience of one driver means I will never risk using masons again.

    Bangladeshi driver saw the house, engaged in small talk about money throughout the whole journey, then proceeded to charge me £6.50 over the agreed price set by the controller before pickup, upon arriving at destination. Implied he was doing me a favour when I offered him to take a £3.50 tip for the journey, by chiming "no, it's £30.. but I will only charge you £25." He also insinuated his car was ill equipped to transport my disabled mother for the journey. True, it wasn't ideal but was workable; even though I had already explicitly asked for an adequate vehicle to transport her when ordering. If your car is not suitable why did you accept the fare driver?. Not the best service today Masons. Sorry

    First class experience. I Pre booked a cab on Thursday with Nick from Mason Cars to take 6 people to RM15 Saturday evening and then to collect us at 1am to return home with 5 drop offs. Nazam Abbas cab number 50 was our driver and he was absolutely amazing he arrived on time and dropped us all off flawlessly. Good price too. Would definitely recommend this taxi service. Thank you Nazam for getting us all home safely.

    To the driver who swore at me right outside their office as I reversed out my space and he pulled out behind me (after I had already begun leaving my space) because he couldn’t wait 2 seconds and refused to move back in his space. If that’s how you drive as a taxi firm I guess I’ll have to stop using you on a daily basis. Several people who witnessed this agreed he was in the wrong as we all laughed at him.

    Rubbish service gone down hill so much lately whats happened/ Been using masons for over 20 years have always been reliable until recently bookings being cancelled because of little to no drivers available and the lady on the phone is rude and unhelpful after a few things going wrong lately i thought id give them another go how silly was i rung up to be told over an hours wait for a cab as yet AGAIN NO DRIVERS what a waste of time that was. Tried a different cab company and they had a car to me within 10 mins. So much for better service for loyal customers i wont be using masons anymore

    Enquired about a cab trip today, appeared to be a misunderstanding about me enquiring about their services, versus booking as I didn't mention the word 'quote' and was given a fairly rude reception by the operator. Not very impressed. Used the service before and generally they've been okay it's always been my other half booking the cabs.

    Never again. I politely asked in the office whether drivers accept card payments to which the operator responded yes. The driver was then very rude when I arrived to my destination demanding I pay in cash. Driver also exceeded speed limit (as have other having read other reviews) nearly crashing at a roundabout and accelerated heavily over speed humps. Not safe at all. Stick to apps which are more reliable than queues and rude staff.
