Great ambience and fantastic service… late check in was smooth as could be! Would definitely use BW again! Hope to sample their breakfast and will share the experience… and one has to watch out for the chancellors hidden taxes at booking stage. My booking which was meant to include Breakfast was said to be room only. So either Booking.com got the rate wrong or the inclusive breakfast rate got a different meaning. Otherwise breakfast was great though standard. Good enough for the job of the day ahead!!!

The ONLY reason I give this Hotel 4 and not 5 stars is because it’s really used as a stop over for workers. However, we were treated so so well by the staff who were so friendly. The room was lovely … I had to up the heating but the room soon heated up and by golly, the shower was so poweful it nearly shot me to the end of the bath! Hahaha. Will definitely stay again when we buy down to visit Twycross Zoo. Didn’t take any photos this time as I was a bit down about life and this was a trip to cheer me up. Breakfast was lovely … but as the Hotel is meant for worker stop overs, it starts around 6.30am so if you aren’t up really early, you get the crusted fried eggs … though am sure they would have done me fresh ones had I had asked.

Spent the night here after family get together and was impressed. Check in was friendly and informative. Room was clean and bed was comfortable with nice hot powerful shower I would definitely stay here again for the price it was just what we required. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant so I can’t comment on those

Only stayed the one night and the sleep was awful. It really didn't help that we were there on one of the hottest nights of the year but our room was so hot all night long. Only 3 plug sockets in the room and two of them were taken up by the TV and kettle however when we asked for an extension lead they were very good in getting one. The room was a good size but the bed location could of been better as one side was only a ft away from the wall which made getting in and out difficult. The staff were great and welcoming which was a big plus.

Stopped over for one night at this hotel on our way home following a break. As we were travelling with our dog we had booked in advance. We were impressed with the way the staff went out of their way to ensure a good stay. It was a warm evening and we didn't want to leave our dog alone in a strange room. It was no bother for a separate table to be arranged for us to sit outside. We had already discovered a dog bed and food bowls awaiting us when we got to our room. We also had a couple of minor problems which were dealt with immediately and efficiently. All in all, a good experience for an overnight stay.

The room was clean, tidy and as expected, we slept well and enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel was in good repair and our only real complaint was receiving a parking fine. While this was a worry and a pain - it was dealt with quickly and efficiently by the manager after a single phone call.

Hotel was comfortable for one night. The bathroom was clean but stained, both the sink and toilet. The dinner was served in the bar (socially distanced) and was excellent. Would not recommend the take away breakfast that was offered. We we're only offered bacon a sandwich, when we collected it on leaving, it consisted of one bacon sandwich each, soggy white bread, no butter or sauce, it was a very expensive breakfast.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked a groupon deal which came with the hotel, breakfast and tickets for Twycross zoo which was a steal in my opinion! The rooms are very comfy and nice and the bathroom is large. The shower is also very powerful which is good. The breakfast due to covid was not a buffet but still very efficient and delicious. Could have had a bigger selection of continental breakfast but I still really enjoyed it.

Staff lovely & helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast & evening meal good quality, tasty & good value for money. Unfortunately the view from our room was a roof, but the room was large & comfortable.
