Second time we've stayed here now over the Christmas period, in a family room. Rooms are basic but spotless. Had some marks on the kids sheets, that was easily rectified. Hotel was quiet, I didn't hear anyone. Will definately be back

Next to toby carvery in central location on the main road. Rooms have everything you need as a base and if you need extras like iron or hairdryer then just ask. Beds are comfy and cosy. Breakfast is a box if your on the go or got kids but the toby next door does an all you can eat breakfast at a reasonable price. It was quiet and you can't hear people in other rooms and in the hallways. Secure rooms via a fob so security is quite good.

The room lighting could be better. Great location with a Toby just next door for dinner.

Not bad but certain rooms look out to a bowling green so curtains a needed shut

Stayed at Castle Bromwich. Kirsty on reception was brilliant. Exceptional service when we had a problem. Went the extra mile and always smiling. A credit to travelodge. We'll be definitely going back

Could have been just my room but it was very small and dingy very run down. Even the Toby carvery next door was very poor food wise.

After reading other reviews, we came with a bit of trepidation. We were at the NEC for a trade show so wanted to stay somewhere local. The room was booked in advance for £35. On arrival there is a big car park & by entering your registration on the pad in reception it's free parking. The receptionist was polite, issued or card pass & directed us to our room. The room was clean with clean bedding & towels. For food, there is a Morrisons local, Tesco express Or an Aldis down the road or for a pint & a hot meal, there is a Toby carvery right next door. The Hotel itself needs refurbishment with a lick of paint & some new carpets & furniture(a the very least) Overall a nice stay.

Arrived late after long day, reception greeting could be better, went to room wine stained duvet, bed not made, complained to reception and told only just come on duty, only other room available twin, we booked a double, whole place needs a refurb, carpets stained throughout,in fairness good nights sleep after initial issues.

I won't even give a star but I had to. As soon as I walked in the door I could smell the mould and damp. I slept in my clothes (jeans and jumper) on top of the duvet and used my coat over the pillow. It was revolting. The room stank even worse of damp. I couldn't even bring myself to try the breakfast. I had 2 nights booked there. I left a night early and booked another hotel. The price was far to expensive for what is offered. Thr carpets were bleached red around the outside where I can only assume mould was cleaned from.

Pleasant and helpful reception staff. Room beautifully clean and had all basic amenities. We actually stayed in the room for clients needing wheelchair access so had an enormous en suite wet room. Obviously because of that the room was set up for disabled access but that wasnt a problem. Breakfast box delivered what it said it would. All in all a very pleasant overnight stay to break our journey home from Wales. No problem about the parking - simply entered the reg no into the display in the foyer as asked.
