   I know people normally post a photo of their food and how amazing it looks, but to be honest here is my photo of my cleaned dish. SIMPLY because the food was bloody gorgeous and it was ate that quickly we forgot to take a before photo!! Sunitha has created a gorgeous menu with her team. The food is cooked in view and it tastes fantastic. If you are looking for something with a slightly different twist then yes come here.

   My family treated me to an early Mother’s Day dinner last night and the food was fabulous as always. Every dish was cooked with the greatest skill and understanding of spices and flavour pairings. My Chicken Pakora, Palak Gosht and Dal Makhani with delightful paratha and cumin and coriander rice sides were delicious. The Vinho Verde on the wine list complimented everything we ate and we had the honour of being served by Owner/Chef Sunitha herself. The team at Kira certainly gets food and drink! Don’t miss out on the cocktails…

   Bistro Indian cuisine a real treat after being served school dinners at the local Shrigley Hall. Warm welcome and food was perfect and fresh out of the kitchen. Flavours and presentation were first class. Even let us bring our little dog in.

   My father had the chicken lollipops. He is a well travelled man who enjoys good food but was underwhelmed at getting 3 tiny pieces of bite sized meat on a bone and not much else for his main . At £11 I think you need to re think your prices. Strange combination of choices too. My daughter had the prawn main. Again 3 shell on prawns on a chunk of seeded bread. ? When I ordered a glass of wine, the young male server thought I said salt when I said soda. I swear there was salt in it. Not worth the price I'm sorry to say.

   I can't even express how amazing this restaurant is. Straight away you are met with stylish decor, a classy and quiet atmosphere, and friendly front of house. With an open kitchen, the immense work that goes into this incredible dining experience can be appreciated firsthand. And the food... It is indescribable. Easily the best Indian food I've ever had, and probably the best food I've ever had full-stop! They have options for every palette, and each dish is presented beautifully with care and precision. The flavours come alive in your mouth like fireworks, so deeply tasty and moreish. The dishes are delivered to the table as and when they're ready, which is fun and exciting as you never know what's coming next but can guarantee it will be delicious. We ended up ordering seconds because we couldn't get enough of everything :) Seriously — make sure you try Kira. You will not be disappointed. We will be coming back at least once a week.

   Kira is an absolute delight. We were greeted by incredibly attentive staff who looked after us from start to finish, special mention to the Mixologist /Bartender who is going to be a fantastically dangerous addition to Bollington! The food is wonderful, the perfect balance of complex and exciting dishes to really stretch your palette and some recognisable favourites. All the food is impeccably cooked, nothing we ordered had been sat there waiting it was all fresh and cooked to order which is no mean feat in a busy restaurant. Some of the dishes are wonderfully spicy, a real treat for anyone who loves authentic heat in their Indian food, not overpowering at all and lots of milder options available. We loved the fusion between East & West in the menu and we also loved the introduction to more regional textures and flavours that you really don't get in British/Asian restaurants. I highly recommend the deserts for a taste of Indian cuisine that you wont have tried before. A brilliant evening both my children loved as much as the adults. Thanks for having us!
