“Extremely satisfied with this place! Family-run business, so you know they really take care of the place and the quality of their food. I got the option that lets you try 3 dishes in one meal, as well as their beef and vegetable momos. I highly recommend the broccoli stir fry! Serving was generous and I had to take home some of the food I wasn't able to finish. Not disappointed at all and would definitely go back if I get a chance.”

“Dishoom Spinningfields is one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester. When it first opened back in 2018, it was Dishoom’s first restaurant in Northern England, and since then they’ve set a remarkable standard of both food and service quality and certainly left me coming back for more. The interior is super impressive, cool and unique. Dishoom is based on the old Irani cafés in Bombay, and the interior is so large and feels like no other restaurant in the city. My go-to dishes are the Chicken Ruby with Basmati Rice and occasionally the Gunpowder Potatoes. The portion sizes are generous, and the rich spices of the curry are super good — it’s obvious they use great quality ingredients and seasonings. For drinks, again the selection is vast, with my favourites being the regular Chai and the Mango Lassi, which are both really good. There is always a staff member walking around topping up tap water, so you’ll never go thirsty. The pricing is a little high, but I feel it is worth it for the quality. Matka Holders can also roll a dice at the end of their meal to potentially earn everything for free, food and alcohol included, during certain times. This makes it all fun, being able to put the meal on the roll of a dice. Due to having an allergy, I can scan a QR code on the menu for the latest information, and all the staff members are well trained in dealing with allergies. They’re aware of coeliac disease and the danger of cross-contamination, and always keep my items separate from my friends’ when I dine in a group. Overall, this is one of the places to be in Manchester if you’re looking for good food with fantastic allergy awareness, overall ambience/vibes, food and service quality. It’s a place that you can go for a special occasion or even a quick lunch (although a lunch menu / meal-deal offer would make it even more enticing for sure!).”

“I came in with my granddaughter last week, and I must say, the food was exceptional! Upon walking into the establishment, it felt as if we were transported to New York. As a proud American, I must say I felt right at home! My granddaughter, on the other hand—who is very hard to impress—took her time, but by the time the food arrived, her demeanor had changed. We ordered the Benny's Burger, the schnitzel wrap, and the sweet potato chips. I have to mention that my granddaughter did not make the life of the young lady at the till easy. With the number of notes my granddaughter gave for her schnitzel wrap, I was sure she would be laughed at by our server. Instead, we were met with kind responses, smiles, and absolutely no issues. The food came out very quickly, and all three items we ordered were presented exquisitely! Every note was followed perfectly. The service was probably the best I have experienced in this otherwise abysmal country. I come to England at least twice a year from New York to visit my children and grandkids. I try to give each one time alone with me so I can give each the attention they deserve. My son had mentioned that there was a splendid restaurant I had to try; he has ordered Uber delivery from you a few times. I truly recommend the dine-in experience! I will definitely be returning the next time I come to visit the kids. (I do apologize, as I had intended to share the photographs that were taken. But sadly, only my granddaughter took photos—she has the better phone and therefore the better camera—and she seems to be taking her time sending them to me.)”

“Had an amazing time at Hawksmoor Manchester. The team’s hospitality was spot-on — friendly, genuine, and made us feel really well looked after. Started the evening with a few cocktails at the bar, which were fantastic. The steak was the real highlight — perfectly cooked medium rare, juicy, and full of flavour. “This place deserves 5 stars. Firstly upon entering the place was greeted by such a lovely and happy Chinese lady. They really do treat you like you are a valued customer. However regardless of this the food. Out of the hundreds of Chinese takeaways I've tried around the uk the food is the BEST. For my order I was told there would be a 15 minute wait. Yes they really did cook everything fresh. Even when I entered the building the lady was making something from scratch. When I got home the food was unbelievable. Sweet and sour chicken, the chicken batter still crispy it was so fresh. And it literally melted in my mouth. The ribs, crispy and extremely meaty, full of meat! The homemade spring rolls were the nicest I've ever tried. Unreal. And everything else we ate was just so fresh and full of flavour Another amazing thing, I didn't get that extreme thirst which you usually get from Chinese takeaways - most likely since the food is homemade and not from packets or jarred sauces. And lastly, pricing. I mean the prices are like they were years ago. Usually a £45 order cost us £29 today I honestly wish that this place gets the recognition it deserves because it really is the best in every possible aspect. Thank you so much pearl garden. “Appropriately named “home Chinese”, I felt like I was eating at a friend’s place, but in a good way.. Attention to detail was great, my waitress Amy, was an absolute dream, she gave the best recommendations and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would eat here again, it’s so good to find a place that has good food, good service and good prices. I only managed to take a picture of one thing as I was too busy eating by the time the rest of my meal came through!. Thank you so much for a wonderful dining experience.”

“My boyfriend and I visit this restaurant every couple of months as a treat. This is by far my favourite restaurant in Manchester, the food is amazing, the actual cooking of the food is a really fun experience but most importantly the service is phenomenal. I’ve visited about 8 times now and have never waited more than 10 seconds for service, the waitresses and waiters are so on top of everything and very helpful for suggestions and how long to cook each item of food. We usually spend between £30-£50 between the two of us and have a loyalty stamp card that we use everytime we visit for a free item! Cannot recommend enough!”

“Great spot for always having at least one gluten free beer on tap, usually a couple. I'm a big fan of when they've got locals like Brightside. Generally a good atmosphere whenever I come. Sometimes a lot busier than others, probably event related as it's very close to a number of live venues. That said, I can often find a seat in the second, quieter room pictured below. I would appreciate GF food options, but I understand this is exceptionally difficult considering they do pizzas. The music is almost never particularly loud, which means you can always converse. The only setback would be that some of the beers can be pricey, but this is absolutely to be expected given they are quality craft beers rather than mass products, and I say this is one of the few spots where it's worth it”
