Perfect location for visiting the O2, with bars and restaurants nearby as well, though rooms do face a busy road. Very welcoming staff, nice continental breakfast. The room itself was absolutely fine, clean and good quality where it matters (nice mattress, good shower). Do note the mattress is on the shorter end if you're much taller than 6ft/180cm. We aren't so it wasn't a problem but we noticed. I'd recommend and would revisit the Duke of Wellington!

Came in just for a couple of pints to round of the evening and had a grand time! The music was great and the drinks too. The guys behind bar had a great taste in music. Didn’t catch his name, but the bloke with the nice moustache deserves a shout!

It was a pleasant stay for our group. Room is spacious enough to lay our luggage down with ample of space left to move around. Location is good it was pretty convenient and accessible to the city center and shops. I recommend this place

Excellent food in the venue. Nice pub too - clean and friendly / respectable atmosphere. Will come again, especially for the food! Good selection of beers. Very impressive history with pictures of car racing in black and white outside the pub!

Stayed at the hotel for a week in January. The staff are very welcoming , the room was spotless clean. The bed was amazing , nothing was to much trouble for staff. Just a shame they have Indian food bar an not a fullenglish breakfast. Price was tidy too. All in all I will be returning.

Generally very good for what you pay. Warm and tidy room, quieter than expected given the area and in all a comfy staff. Staff are very nice and always try to help you. We had one little hiccup during our stay (nothing major and something that was outside of the hotel’s control) but the manager, Marcus, and another female staff member were brilliant. Very pro-active and more than rectified the situation. Would stay here again and happy to recommend.

Stayed in room 2. 100% no frills. The bed is comfy. The curtains are decent and the shower is good. That’s pretty much all I can say. You get a bed, a kettle, a telly and the bathroom. No tables or chairs and NO ROOM whatsoever. If your just after somewhere to rest your head and literally do nothing else then it’s sound. If you wanna hang your clobber up or do anything other than shower and sleep go to a holiday inn.

Friendly staff. The room is clean and good value. In many ways you get what you pay for. If budget is your top priority it's not a bad option at all. There are some expected compromises. First, my room was tiny (I think they have bigger ones). There was no desk/chair so I couldn't work because I can only sit on the bed. Also, if the bar/restaurant isn't open, there are no staff. There's no breakfast and you're on your own if you have an issue. The area is not far from the centre but the area feels rundown.
