   Well we're do I start, the hotel is dated, its got a weird smells though out the whole hotel upstairs and downstairs, flys everywhere and the last thing that made me run out the place is when they said you can't check in until 5pm because pest control are going to check every room everyday.

   It was very homely and the service we received was outstanding. Also, the garden was a very nice place to wind down in. The rooms were clean and it was nice that we get our own fridge and the free parking was a plus.

   Seeking a rat infested, rude staffed & dirty hotel? Stay at the Park Hotel. I don’t even know where to begin, in no way is it my nature to bring anybody or anyplace down but I’d like to encourage everybody to NOT STAY HERE. Work was being done whilst guests were staying which is a severe health hazard, they worked from 8am-10pm which I am sure is not legal in any way shape or form. I came back to my room one afternoon and all my mum’s precious keepsakes (sentimental wine glasses which she thought would be safe) were smashed on the floor because of banging and drilling in the room next to me, my laptop screen was smashed also. Before we moved in we were not told that the place was being sold & certainly not that we would have workmen enter our room when they pleased. We had to find out about that once we moved in. The shower was diabolical - mouldy & filled with insects, the cleaner never properly cleaned the room at all, things were stolen from our fridge and we even saw a rat which went under my own bed. The managers boyfriend (whom I highly doubt was actually in charge but often acted like he wore the trousers) was very rude and so were the work men - we were consistently asked to park round the corner and not on the hotel premises. The Park Hotel is disgraceful & I hope nobody has the displeasure of ever staying there. Needless to say, my family and myself had a traumatic experience and I can’t stress enough how horrible this hotel is.

   Excellent service we were in Birmingham for the National BMX competition. I would highly recommend this hotel, had the best night sleep the rooms were cosy and the Breakfast was fantastic! Will definitely stay here again.
