Spent a night here as attending a Christmas party. Check in was good we were shown to our room, and explained where fire exits were. She also informed us there was a function on and our room was above. We were OK with this as we were attending. Room was large with seating area with good views over the golf course. Well presented with large shower room. Function was good, service and food great. Highly recommend

I played a round of golf here, was met at shop by a very pleasant man, he ran through everything I needed to know, and checked I was OK with everything. Had an enjoyable round on a lovely course, my only quibble is the price of buggies, I find £31 slightly expensive when compared to other clubs, but aside from that a very enjoyable day was had.

Golf course is amazing and in really good condition considering the summer we have had. Each hole presents its own challenge and is equally exciting. Scenery around the course is stunning. Will be back soon.

I stayed at Wharton Golf & Country Club as a base to go exploring the area and to horse ride in February 2025. It is a lovely hotel, the accommodation is modern but cosy with very clean rooms and comfy beds. Breakfast was high quality with plenty of choice. All the staff were friendly and helpful . Plenty of parking and a very peaceful, quiet location. I will stay here again when next in the area.

Very disappointed with this hotel. The service used to be excellent, however not any more.. Our room was sickeningly hot and stifling it was in direct sun with two tiny windows. We discovered the air conditioning not to be working which was extremely disappointing in a heat wave. We’d stayed before and knew there was air conditioning and various sites including trip advisor confirmed this. As I checked before I booked. I explained to Josh, who I believe was the manager that my health condition is really exasperated in heat and we booked our stay for our anniversary on this basis. He said unless I could prove it showed the air conditioning was working he wouldn’t refund, as he said they had removed air conditioning from their amenities as the air conditioning had been broken for months. He sternly asserted this, even after I explained how poorly I would be if I stayed and it was going to ruin our wedding anniversary... he really couldn't care less and said no refunds. We left the hotel as I wasn’t prepared to become seriously ill. I have contacted Expedia and they are dealing with this on my behalf but I have had to leave a review to say how much the customer service has nose dived. It used to be a lovely, quality hotel however it is apparent to me they are having financial difficulties if they can’t even afford to fix the air conditioning which as my photos show they are still advising they have.

Great value for money rooms, I'm not a golfer but was in the area & needed an overnight room, I booked the executive room with the balcony & garden/golf course view it was stunning to say the least. The room was nice & modern throughout, bed was very comfortable & toilet shower facilities were nice also. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Recommend it to all.

Christmas Lunch at Wharton Park, was Lovely treat, six courses of quality food and drink. Very nice attentive Staff, well deserving of a big tip. Plenty of room in the dining area where the tables were well spaced, ideal for wheel chair access. Christmas music was a little intrusive for conversation in the centre of the dining area.

The room was fine from a golfers point of view. The course was up hill down dale so I'd recommend a buggy. Service in the club house was excellent although the menu was limited. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Faye, who helped make our stay very enjoyable.
