only giving 2 stars because the reception team is fantastic, they go above and beyond to help patients. Can't say the same for most doctors there. They'll be patronizing at best. I don't reccomend this medical centre at all.
Burleigh Park is the best medical Centre I have ever attended. All of the doctors, nurse practitioners and receptionists are caring, thorough and actually listen. Having been dismissed by my previous GP surgery with vague symptoms, Sara the nurse practitioner listened to my concerns and symptoms and quickly referred me for a CT scan and when I told Catherine that I still hadn’t had my MRI she ordered it for me. These two women have probably saved my life. I have just had a large and rare pelvic sarcoma removed on 21st August. It was very fast growing, but caught before it had spread and my surgeon managed to get all of it out. So I am hopeful. I just want to let Sara and Catherine know how very grateful I am. Another six months from now things may have been very different. Thank you for the excellent care you gave me, it really has been life changing.
My doctor is a lovely angel, but the male receptionist definitely has an attitude problem. Whenever I call, he either tells me to see a pharmacist or to ring again tomorrow, and apparently, tomorrow is not his shift. This kind of lazy staff just tries to avoid doing his job and lets the patients suffer.
Have had the most GP appointments and health related sessions here. My very first GP appointment for skin issue was not the best 1st impression but every subsequent follow up and referral was brilliant. Saw physiotherapist who very patiently took my full injury history. He then referred me on to an excellent MSK service for follow up. Learned about social prescriber when another GP at BPM dealt with me during a mental health crisis. Both sessions were very helpful. All reports recorded and accesible thru NHS app so excellent database management. I am sad to leave the practice but this centre was a delight to be with for 9 months. Thank you to all staff here- made the trip to the doctors which most people dread feel a lot less scary knowing I'm in good hands. Kudos
Fantastic gp surgery. Although I've not been many times, each time I have the doctors I have seen has been brilliant. Quick referral processes both time and timely follow up. Waiting times weren't too bad either in comparison to other places I have been. Reception/phone call team are great, didn't have to wait long at all on the phone for a same day appointment. Would definitely recommend to all especially students moving to Leeds looking for a gp, as it is the best one I have experienced here.
Been with the practice for years and I've never had a bad experience. All clinical and admin staff are professional and compassionate. Sensible triage system.
Have always had really great experiences with the doctors, nurses and midwives here. Dr Lawton has been especially caring and thoughtful in his care towards my baby daughter, taking the time to listen and explain things. It isn’t easy to get through on the phones in the morning, but I’m not sure what more the staff can do when it’s obviously a very busy surgery.
My elderly father has received excellent care from the dedicated staff at Burley Park Medical Centre. With prompt responses and treatment every time. This is the NHS at its best. Many Thanks
Everytime I visit here I always have the best service experience I can ask for. The receptionists are always so kind and make everything so easy and my GP is always fantastic. You can tell they really care about their patients and I come away from here every time feeling like I’ve gotten the best care possible. Thank you!
Really poor booking system to book an appointment with the doctors both on telephone and via the on line system. 10 minute window only in the morning to book online or alternatively ring for more than 50 times to book an appointment and if you are lucky you might get an appointment. Thanks for making me feel worse than I already do.
