The best Neapolitan pizza in York for sure - maybe UK. This place sizes up and competes head to head with L’antica da Michele of Naples, and that is a damn good pizza place. Flor di late flavourful and fresh, tomato sauce clearly house made from scratch, and dough texture consistency and thickness/ thinness perfectly deliberate and masterfully executed. Crust crunchy on the outside and almost mochi-like within. Perfection - Must drop by.

This place doesn’t just make pizza—it performs it. The crust is perfectly crisp… every slice feels like it was made by someone who genuinely cares about your happiness. The service is so lovely it’s like they’re in on some secret mission to improve your day. The beer list is excellent, thoughtfully chosen, and dangerously easy to work your way through. And the cider? Honestly, the best ever. Come for the pizza, stay for the drinks, leave happier than you arrived. Perfect!

Great pizza! Nice people and location! Tasty and great dough! Would do with more cheese, especially the parmesan pizza .. had less thane expected Parmesan on it.. thinking of a dedicated pizza for Parmesan I would expect parts of it to be fully covered. Another con is this bad nasty trend of fake plants .. trying to improve the ambience but really feels like a plastic dust collector low maintenance rubbish. I hope that trends dies soon.

Wow what a find We did a search for dog friendly places to have lunch in York. I have to say this is without a doubt the best pizza I have ever had. Hands down 100% my wife had the one with a whole Italian burrata so creamy I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good pizza

Maybe some of the best pizza we have had! We visited on two separate occasions and the pizza has always been outstanding. The 5 stars are for the pizza because it is really that good. However there are a few 'buts'. The space is very small, so it can be difficult to get a table. I recommend waiting for a table upstairs - the downstairs area is just not as nice and doesn't really match the type of restaurant. The downstairs area feels more like a night club than a casual pizza spot. The change in menu!!!! The mushroom and truffle pizza was no longer available as well as one of the lovely Italian ciders. All of these things are quickly overshadowed by the incredible pizza with wonderfully fresh and high quality ingredients. A bit on the pricy side (even with inflation).

Really loved this pizza place. Visited as I'd read such great reviews and it really was lovely. The pizza is freshly cooked and delicious, service was also timely and friendly. Highly recommend for delicious pizza in York city centre!

I'm still in disbelief about how fantastic the pizza was. The dough was absolutely superb, clearly highly hydrated strong flour, and perfectly cooked. The toppings were also amazing and a great selection of beers was available.

Quite possibly the best pizza? Great fresh ingredients, perfect amount of char, lightest dough ever tasted & full of flavour. Definitely worth a visit

We stopped by for an impromptu pizza last night and was so impressed by the quality and taste of the pizzas! Can’t believe we hadn’t come sooner!!! We sat at a table outside with our dog and chosen our pizzas from the online menu. It had a simple list of pizzas which suited us to the ground! We wanted something to go with our drinks!! When the pizzas arrived, they were hot and fresh! It has to be one of the best pizzas we’ve had! The base was thin and airy and flavours were delicious!! The portobello and truffle one was amazing! The staff were very friendly and welcoming! It’s a great location to watch the world go by! We will definitely return again with any hesitation! Well done to the team for putting on great food & service!!
