   We liked this place having moved to the area. An older store layout, but it still works fine... ...once you get into and through the car park.... We visited on a wet Wednesday evening in late November 2025. The car park lighting is bright and harsh but there are shadows. The car park is run by Cheshire East Council, so for an hour you pay (at the machine) £1.20, of which 60p is refundable - a tiny voucher from the car park payment machine can be scanned in the checkout system. Once you are inside (and NO need for an annoying coin deposit as at Cheadle Royal)... ..., it's a great local supermarket on the edge of Wilmslow town centre.

   Although most. Of the staff are friendly and helpful there are a few who don’t seem to put themselves out to help people to find goods!! However the. Store itself is in a shocking state of disrepair particularly the flooring which is full of holes and accident waiting to happen and a leaking ceiling which hasn’t been fixed in months.

   don’t even bother- parking is atrocious and not validated unless you spend £10, which is not only spelled out to you after you’re at the checkout but you have to ask inside to even find out it exists! don’t do ringo for it either as it won’t give you the receipt you need.

   Sainsbury’s van turns up once a week, bearing in mind kids are in bed in my house. Extremely noisy, talks at the top Of his voice to the person he is delivering to, bangs crashes his doors it’s not on, pulls Out shelves or whatever he is doing noise is awful. Again Wakes my children up with them worrying what all the noises are. Throws stuff back in his van, slams gate a number of times. Please be quiet have some Respect for people/ Please have some Consideration for people. Old fashioned Milkmen have or had respect. Won t set foot in Sainsbury’s again your prices are ridiculous anyway !

   Car parking is belong to Cheshire Council. If you buy something up to 10 pound Sainsbury is given you 70p. Double think to park!
