Great branch of Costa. lots of seating, a good variety of food and drinks available. It's pretty popular, and gets very busy sometimes!
We we're visiting the xmas market and stopped in for a drink and food and, jamie the store manager was absolutely incredible he advised us to use the click and collect feature through the app to avoid standing in the queue and even brough out food and drinks over to us. It was absolutely incredible service, the food and drinks were fab too !
Costa is one of my go-to spots for a quick coffee or frappe, but this location truly stands out. I had to give it 5 stars, and it's all thanks to the exceptional staff! They are incredibly friendly, funny, and welcoming, always greeting customers with a smile that brightens the whole day. Their pride in their work is definitely shown, and their positive attitude is infectious. While the food is consistently good, as with most Costa branches, this particular location has that extra something special, largely due to the well-mannered and delightful staff.
Quite busy. Staff were great. The woman who served me was amazing. Couldn't quite catch her name though. Drinks were really fast but it wasn't as good as I expected. They were still good though. Just not extraordinary which I understand because it was busy with a good queue. I had the pink lemonade and i also ordered a chai latte. Overall, a decent place for coffee, just not the best I have ever had. + i had it takeaway which may make a difference.
I came here for breakfast with my partner, food and coffee was amazing. We both got the maple latte and it is soooo good!
Visited lots of Costa, all around the UK. What really struck me about this Costa was the relationships, I witnessed between the staff and customers. So warm and caring. Thanks for a lovely coffee and experience.
Usual good quality drinks and food. Service was quick and pleasant. Door code to use the toilet ! Come on Costa that's a bit off, having to ask to use the loo, like being back at school. No good putting the code on the receipts if you don't give receipts!
Bit rush in the evening. It takes sometime to clear the tables. Coffee was good. Toilets can be better maintained.
Unlike other costa, plenty of space available for seating. Staff service was okay.
Absolutely filthy! Ordered a latte it looked like a weak cup of tea and the spoon was filthy so i called a staff member over and asked him to change it and get me a clean spoon, the second spoon was as dirty! There was no white sugar at all For the size of york centre this costa is a joke and always packed god knows why as its the worst costa i have ever been in.
