Great shop, but it's NOT a part of the regular franchise (despite having the CoOp sign outside) as you can't use your CoOp discount card???? I'd only use this shop like I would a local garage mini shop as its prices are very much higher compared to many other local stores..... So, if you're caught short and can accept their high prices, it's for you.

I am a sixth form student at Fairfax Academy and I am appalled by the attitude of their recently designated security. During the day, us sixth formers only have a 30 minute window from 1:15pm - 1:45pm to go to the co-op, get lunch, and return to the school. This means there is little time to waste. Yet, they are forcing strictly students to queue outside of the co-op and only allowing a limited number of students in the shop at once. This has resulted in a large queue of up to 20 students waiting outside the shop of which I waited 10 - 15 minutes to get food. Meanwhile, we watch security allow non-students, who are not in any hurry at all, into the shop. All the non-students seemed so comfortable and happy, yet we were all contemplating on whether to get food at all as we may be late to school. I had to swiftly decide what I wanted to get for lunch and rush eating as I quickly pace back to school in order to not be late. Thankfully, I was not late, have I been a few minutes later I would have been. Besides the point, none of us want to be spending almost every lunchtime racing time in order to satisfy our human need to eat food and not be late to school. In addition to this, upon looking into the interior of the shop, only one of the self-checkout machines were being used, the tills didn't seem particularly busy either. Given the circumstances, the queue seems nonsensical. Trying not to come off as rude, I was curious about the queue and pleaded my circumstances to security of which I received the response 'I do not care', I questioned further and again they responded 'I do not care', their tone was very rude, almost aggressive. I feel like staff at co-op has developed a biased view and tunnel vision for the students who depend on their local services to satisfy their human needs.

Ang/Angela is very rude in here and unpleasant regarding collecting a parcel. Her attitude is appalling and not customer friendly. Will avoid being served by her again. However the girls in the Post office are very helpful and polite.

Asked if self scan charges for electricity...over charged again for product against shelf prices, may only be 10 pence on items, but over the week 10 pence builds a healthy profit for the balance sheet...young lady gave me the 10 pence from her till...thank you CHECK THE PRICE WHEN YOU SCAN GUY'S YOUR PURSE WILL GET SMALLER

I experienced very poor customer service at the co-op this evening. In summary, the employee I was served by (Ang) was consistently rude, communicated poorly and kept me waiting for 30 minutes then wasn't able to send my parcel. Co- op, Please contact me if you would like to hear about this incident in more detail. I have written down an account of what happened for future reference. I would like to hear about how this has been followed up and dealt with as I feel Ang's behaviour towards me was unacceptable and I would not like anyone else to have to experience the same.

Always helpful. Very convenient location Lucky I can walk to the shop. Not enough parking for a busy shop. Still worth a pop in.Fresh Food always fresh practice . Full covid guidelines. Always trolly sanitizer and hand sanitizer social distancing. Wednesday is a quite day. Tuesday is good for pensioners.
