Nice central place to meet up with friends. Usually accessible,(I'm a wheelchair user). Can get very busy. Prices average££.
Lovely staff especially Finn, Emily, Abby and can't remember the other young lady's name. Always very polite and offer help if needed.
No gluten free sandwiches or toasties even though costa now offer these. Nowhere in Kingsgate offers anything gluten free, very poor and should be looked at!
I ordered a latte but it was full of milk, and I couldn’t taste the coffee flavour. I didn’t enjoy the taste at all. The staff wasn’t friendly, and cleaning materials were left on the tables. Overall, I was disturbed by everything and it wasn’t an enjoyable experience for me.

Really disappointed with our visit today. We used to come all the time however today when we went, the staff had a lack of understanding. My partner got a breakfast wrap, which was stone cold inside, they then put it back in to heat up (which you shouldn’t do) I then ordered a coconut white mocha which I have always got for 3 years, I understand the white mocha has a small trace of diary however when I took a sip, it was not coconut milk. I have an intolerance so im now left with a very upset stomach. As I told this to the staff, they were more bothered about saying ‘we do use the same jugs and you should’ve told us when you ordered’ I work in Starbucks myself so it’s common sense that when someone orders a drink made with a dairy ALTERNATIVE, the jugs have to be different to cater for these. We spent a total of £20 so not money we can be wasting. Really disappointed as this was my first trip out in a few months due to being poorly. More to the point, what if someone had a serious allergy to cows milk and this is what happened… Definitely won’t be coming back to this store. We’ve had to come straight home and not be able to look round the shops due to now having stomach pains. They made another drink for me which is fair enough but that’s not the point… it shouldn’t of happened in the first place.
This used to be a really nice spot to come and read the papers and have a coffee on a morning. Unfortunately the service has become so poor and the food almost inedible. The service is so slow and disorganised you’d think Hermes were now running it.
Loads of staff but little organisation and even less customer service. Disappointed.
