Worst Aldi I have ever ever been to got mistaken for a shoplifter then got badly assaulted by 3 members off staff can't give any more details or names as there are under investigation by the police... Will update later... Avoid avoid avoid
Easy to park clean shop plenty of choice and friendly staff cheap prices. Shame about the security guard being confrontational about a shopping basket when the shoplifters take their pick and walk out scott free.
A 5star this time! At Aldi Coventry Rd, it is always likely to have the middle isle products that others Aldi stores have run out of. This one had plenty of the 4wk old stock (I missed) for the particular item I wanted - brilliant!! I also bought items from their luxury or premium own-brand 'Specially Selected' range. You can always taste the quality.
CLOSES EARLY. Sick of these supermarkets who are clearly run by management who choose to change the opening times to suit themselves! I wanted ONE item. It was not even 5 to 4pm on a Sunday. They had locked the entrance door. Security was blocking exit door and clearly would have let me dash in for one thing had management not been so ridiculous! Don't state your closing time as 4pm if you close EARLY!
So much in store and cashiers are always pleasant. Really good value for money. Sadly they dont sell my cat food so I have to shop elsewhere for that but otherwise a thumbs up for Aldi
Arrived at 3.45pm on a Sunday. Doors were shut. Staff would not let me in even though there was 15 minutes to closing. I just had to pick up nappies, cheeky member of staff says you have had all day to do that! Lazy unhappy staff
I love Aldi. They carry all the basic necessities like milk, butter, bread etc but then they have exotic luxuries like lobster tails! Bizarre, but at such affordable prices it means you can afford to take a risk on the things you've never tried before, always wanted to but couldn't afford to.
Great little shop, well stocked with foods, plants and special buys. Love the meats and treats but do find the fruit goes off a little quicker and you are unable to get individual items in the veg section. Staff can be a bit hit a miss given they are all exhausted lifting, lugging and stocking etc. I do wish our store would have a few self check-outs for customers with just a few items though. Also, when a new till becomes available please ask those who have been waiting in LENGTHY queues to be served FIRST to join it!? Good customer care please???
What you would expect from most Aldi stores. Good food, great value, no frills layout and customer service with 'catch your groceries' game at the end of the check out! Excellent range of beers and wines. This particular store always has a large variety and range due to its size. Extremely convenient location on Coventry Road
