Food Warehouse itself is great, unfortunately it’s very much let down by checkout staff, should really be trained correctly in customer interaction and realise just being rude to customers isn’t a good trait. I know I’m only one person but this will be my last shop at The Food Warehouse.
No staff at checkout. Waited almost 10 minutes and a queue of about 7 customers had built up. Plenty of staff working in store. No apology for keeping us waiting when someone finally came to serve.
Quality and variety, prices you can afford, offers on essentials. Lovely helpful staff and a rewards program for everyone and an additional over 60's deal on Tuesdays with a members card. Love shopping here
A lady on tils this morning (²¹/²/2025) short haired lady was quite rude. She had a full blown conversation with the lady in front of us but when it got to us a coworker was behind us and she completely ignored us. Never spoke to us once, never asked how we were paying, never said my total I was paying, didn't look up at us once. I paid and said have a lovely day as I always do and was completely ignored. I wasn't expecting a full conversation but I'd like to have been acknowledged and spoke to even if she was just asking cash or card and giving me my total. (I'll add some pictures of the receipt, maybe you can figure out who it was, they need to be told this ain't okay and can't happen again. That's poor customer service)
We visit this shop whenever we are in the area as it's convenient and has the things that we need. The young woman at the checkout was pleasant.
My favourite shop for frozen foods but you can also get the normal things like bread and milk and tinned stuff and a whole lot more worth a visit
It's a really good place shop and you can find some great bargains.
Huge store with well stocked freezers. Sign posting for the whole site could be improved. Loads of carparking as empty units in this area.
Love this place, massive range of products which are not just Iceland products, they sell items from other company's. Very good value for money and if you have a big family it's perfect because they sell items in large quantities. Highly recommended.
