Takes 3 months to get out of the car park. No customer service whatsoever, staff stand around chatting when you’re waiting for them to sort a problem at self checkout. Hardly ever any actual tills open. Staff doing orders take up the whole aisle with their trolley and have no consideration for other shoppers.

Arrived around 5.30pm on a Thursday & first time here and saw a sign outside for eating but inside the place was closed/roped off. During the visit I used the ladies toilets which were disgustingly dirty! Out of use signs on hand driers and cubical toilet roll dispenser, sinks with wet tissues, 2 cubical floors littered with wet tissues and partially eaten sandwiches!! I let customer services know but the gentleman met me with a look of ‘whatever!’ No spring to action or horror displayed just “OK” !!

Used the self scanner, pulled to one side again for "10 bag security check." Failed the checked, employee told me at the top of his voice, in front of the whole queue I had to go to security!! What he should have said, in a natural lower tone, I'm taking you to a manned till to have a complete check on your trolly. Absolutely no need to try embarrassing tactics!

I'd like to thank Kelly and Matilda for their help with customer service. What a lovely and helpful team! I made a mistake with a purchase from two weeks ago, but Kelly was amazing. She went the extra mile and sorted everything out for me. Can't thank you enough. :)

Sainsburys is a great place to shop have a coffee and a piece of cake. Easy parking. Always some one to ask were things are. The self check out is a pain I always seem to mess up.

10 times better than Morrisons rubery, Sainsburys has a car park with lights and no pot holes to fall down, and it has baskets at the door, and actual tills that work. Take note mozzers,

I like this store and the staff. However, I had a horrible experience today. I was queing for the check out and about to put my things on the conveyer when I witnessed the assistant reach into the back of her top and pick at her back then brought her hand up to her face to examine whatever she had squeezed out. She went on to give her face a good scratch. Yuk yuk yuk. I moved to another check out. This is not the first time I have seen unhygienic behaviour. A few months ago a male member of staff was standing in the area of the check outs and was messing with the skin on his face. Staff need training in basic hygiene.

Vegetables are Scruffy. Somethings are priced well and others not. So it's the same all round in every supermarket at the moment. Could do with more staff on the tills so that can be frustrating. All staff I have encountered have polite and I like that. Can't stand people who make it obvious that they do not want to be there.

This superstore is outstanding as supermarkets go. Underground parking is available so that inclement weather may be avoided. Argos and Habitat are on site. There is a vast range of produce, including clothes and there are several food outlets all under a single roof. The store was clean and tidy and well presented. The only caveat is that the retail park can become congested and traffic flow is not always easy when returning to the Shelly Oak bypass
