Honestly the worst supermarket in York. Loads of staff around, but not a lot happening. Ask a question and youβre likely to be met with a shrug of shoulders and βI dunnoβ. Waited a good 30 mins for a pizza to be made, had to seek out staff members myself each of which just passed it on to someone else, after first offering βI donβt know where he isβ. When someone did arrive there was no apology, I was just told I shouldnβt have been able to order a pizza anyway, it was Saturday morning, not midnight! Lidl and Aldi are much better, the only good thing about Morrisonβs is that their car park is close to town!!

Very poor value for money. The breakfast is terrible. It used to be good value but the prices are too high. The large breakfast is what you would class as normal sized. For a supermarket this is horrendous value for money for food that is well below what you class as nice. There is also no tomatoes on the breakfast???? Not a full English breakfast. To top it off it was cold!! Its clear everything is cooked early on a morning and left in trays for the day until it is used up probably falling foul of food hygiene laws!! I used to frequent the place but yhe standards have dropped that low that I will not be going back now.

Big breakfast at the in-store cafe. Hot drinks are refillable at no extra cost. Only the fried eggs were disappointing, no runny yolks. If this review was helpful please give it a like below.

It's a decent supermarket , but not enough checkout staff if you won't use self-service. There is an excellent range of fresh vegetables and Morrisons own brand chocolate is excellent. The car park is a good size with two hours of free parking. The problem is if you want longer you can pay for extra time but there are no price details on the signs. You have to use an app on your phone, usually that means it is very expensive, so i just go elsewhere.

This Morrisons is a decent size, well laid out, clean and airy. Unlike some of the other Morrisons I have visited there were plenty of staff available to answer questions and the checkout moved quite quickly. I didnβt have much time to shop this last time so was whizzing around but it was good to see a wide range of products in the World Food and the Free From section. Toilets are clean and well appointed. The carpark has 2hours free parking but I usually travel by bus as there is a bus stop just at the edge of the carpark.

Delivery cancelled because the app messed up and apparently couldn't take payment? Even though the app worked fine and said payment went through. Gee, thanks! That's really helpful for a disabled person who relys on shopping to be delivered! Why can't they send the delivery out and try again? Guess I'll go back to Tesco!

Had to return some sweet potato mash as it was 2 days out of date when I bought it.. staff were great about it.. but the staff are generally good in most places.. Morrisons as in ,ost supermarkets need to do better for the prices they are charging.

I went to Morrison's as I had other errands to run there and was able to do a number of things in one trip. It is conveniently situated near a discount store; a pet store, etc. I liked shopping at Morrison's. I noticed they had a good selection of bones for making broth and also things like bone marrow and hearts that are often unseen at other supermarkets. I will be visiting again soon. On a negative, the parking at Morrison's is a bit tight.

Great supermarket, lots of choice of products. They have a fish counter, hot counter and salad bar which is great for lunch visits. I come here often and you can always find what you need for a good price, the staff are really friendly too. The Β£3 meal deal includes a medium sized salad from the salad bar which is really good value.

What can I say...one of the most enjoyable supermarket visits I have had in a long time, and from a bloke that's something. The store was clean bright well stocked, it had a great vibe (as well as prices). As well as the cafe for meals there appears to be a new coffee area near the entrance. Richard was still learning, but we were served reasonably promptly and with great courtesy. This area could prove popular, especially with those on a coffee date, so might need a few more tables. The range of food was great in store, electric charging for EVs, not free. What that really really makes this store sparkle is the staff, they deserve a round of applause for their fantastic customer service.
