6am today, 22nd December. Utter chaos. To look at both sides of certain aisles required going up & down each side due to staff loading shelves blocking the middle. Staff picking orders blocking aisles, let them through with no acknowledgement, 1 said thank you, the rest ignored me. Left with less than planned due to the congestion from staff. Customers were few and far between, staff were clogging most aisles. Not a pleasant experience at all. Checkout staff were the only bonus, very friendly. Surely shelves would be replenished overnight? Won't be visiting again.

I called into the store at stairfoot for some shopping and to return a item of clothing. I went to customer service and asked if I was able to return a item the assistant was very rude to me when I was trying to tell her I had no receipt I was just asking what the process would be she took the item off me and said you carnt have your money back I never asked for my money back she spoke to me like a child I was unable to see here name badge but she needs customer care training. A man stood behind me and commented how rude is she I then went up to clothing and had a totally different experience I asked a assistant called Sadie if there was any other stock off a item she went in the back and brought me out the size I needed she was so polite and helpful I think the staff member on customer service needs to work with Sadie and get some customer care training.

Feel I need to start shopping elsewhere, the online shop is always disappointing, every week stuff is substituted or cancelled however when I go in-store on that day, the items are always in there so it makes no sense? Also the meat and fruit they give me always has a short date on which is frustrating as most of the time I have to just return it. Shopping instore is rather stressful as things aren't where the signs state that they are, a 5 minute shop turns into 30 mintes or more due to the struggle to find what I need.

Absolutely appalling, huge queues due to too many automatic check outs no one wants to use. They have changed the store lay out and it looks like a jumble store. Can't find anywhere to complain online absolutely do one Tesco you've lost a long term customer

I just wanted to say thank you to the lovely man called Vincent that served me on the till at the Wombwell Lane branch today. The person before me was unjustifiably rude to him but he handled it with grace and diplomacy. I found Vincent to be professional, capable and extremely helpful-even going the extra mile to see if I wanted to use my vouchers etc. Working with the general public is never easy and whilst we all complain now and then-its also nice to acknowledge great service when someone clearly puts their heart into their job. Keep up the good work Vincent!

Went to buy a mobile phone. We were helped by Vic, she found us the ideal pay as you go phone and transfered our simm card from our old phone and advised us to return when we had used our credit from our current provider. Then she would activate the voucher that came with the new phone, so that we did not loose our credit. She was extremely helpful.

Oh dear Tesco, beautiful new cafe, and much larger than old one but let down with the service and food. We waited 45 minutes for a breakfast that consisted of one sausage, one small rasher of bacon, one fried egg two pieces of very greasy fried bread( it was running out of it) two hash browns and two spoonfuls of tepid baked beans. By the time it arrived we had finished our drinks which we were trying to take our time with until the food arrived, in the end they were cold. Poor woman delivering food to tables was appologising to everybody so problem must be the kitchen. Two deliroo drivers came and went within minutes so presumably if you are in the store you wait until those orders are done. Not a good experience, will be going somewhere else for breakfast, pity because they have done a fantastic job with the new cafe.

Tesco extra unhelpful. Just ignored by staff whilst asking for help to find something. The one helpful member of staff breaks the bad news they don't sell what I'm looking for anymore. You sell every article of mens clothing conceivable but not shoes? Waste if my time and patience dealing with this place, there is a aldi round the corner that's got better service.
