They close the upstairs seating area 2-3 hours early without informing you before you buy your coffee. Why? Because they are short of staff. Why is that a customer's problem? They tell you there is seating downstairs, but there is hardly any, and none of the plugs downstairs have any electricity. Pathetic
It was awful as there was no space downstairs and no lift so not very accessible at all for disabled customers. The staff were lovely, apologetic and went out of their way to help me but the cafe is understaffed, the poor staff were run off their feet doing their best to help and remaining calm and pleasant to everyone. Starbucks Co you are a disgrace! You care so little for customers n your staff you will do anything for a profit!
The service was appalling. I had to ask for water three times despite the place not being busy. When it finally arrived, the server practically threw it down. My order was incorrect, and there was zero apology for the mistake. Completely unacceptable staff attitude. Furthermore, all the tables were filthy. I actually had to wipe my own table down.
Disgusted about my visit yesterday. Myself 5 year old daughter and mother in law sat outside. All other tables were occupied..the one we chose had ceramic dirty cups as well as left takeaway cups. We had to find another chair as the chairs had bird excrementa on too!! I went in and spoke to a staff member and asked politely if someone could come clean the table and clean the empty cups away. Without realising it was me the staff members spoke to another colleague...her name was ELLIE. She said that a lady has asked if the table can be cleaned and ELLIE looked with a screwed up face and said " she'll have to wait or she can clean it herself!! She pointed at the cleaning stuff. I'm sorry what!!! I've just paid good money to have two drinks....and that's the remark I get!!! Absolutely disgusting! Birds excrements all over the tables because of the left over drinks. We took our drinks and walked away ....we wanted to sit down with my 5 year old so she could rest but it was disgusting! I wont be going back there again!!! I'll stick to Costa! There were 4 members of staff in side, soone could have came out and quickly tidied up and cleaned the tables down! Would of took less than 10 minutes! This ELLIE was rude and I watched how she was with other staff and customers too!!!
Poorly Maintained and Unpleasant I recently visited this Starbucks branch and found it to be a disappointing experience. • The store was very dark inside, which made it feel unwelcoming and hard to navigate. • There was no clear organisation—tables were cluttered and queues weren’t managed effectively. • Most concerning were the toilets, which were disgustingly dirty and clearly not prioritised for cleaning. Given these issues, I would not recommend using this branch. Starbucks typically sets a higher standard, but this location falls far short.
I have a complaint to make as i had a bad experience in the Starbucks in Liverpool one on Paradise street. Firstly, I ordered an iced coffee and waited ten minutes for it, and I was asked why i’m standing there which indicated that my coffee was forgotten about, so i had to wait another couple minutes for it to be made. When I finally got my coffee and wanted to sit down and enjoy it, I was rudely interrupted by a ginger woman with a skin fade who was an employee in this starbucks however i was unable to get the name. She stormed past us and said to me and my friend, “do I seriously have to tell you girls again, we are closing and it’s time for you to get out, this is the second time now.” We were not addressed prior to this, so obviously I was very confused and shocked so I asked “excuse me?” and she ignored us and held the door open while staring at her phone until we got out. This was very intimidating and I will not be back.
This was the best Starbucks experience I’ve ever had! After realizing that I incidently ordered a hot Caramel Macchiato instead of an iced one, I asked the kindly server Sam if I could just have some ice cubes and he insisted on making me a second new one. Got to keep both of them! Coming again :))
Always my go to shop for coffee especially working in the city centre. Went with my partner and baby and went the toilet to change her and found them absolutely disgustingly managed - wee stains on the toilet and floor, toilet roll dispenser absolutely caked in mold from the inside, literally years of mold festering around. Couldn't believe it. Coffee is always great but seeing how vile the toilets were it speaks volumes for how the hygiene is kept up behind the counter. Dont think i can ever go again, sadly.
Nice coffee shop, friendly staff. Toilets are gross and haven't been cleaned.
service was quick and staff needs to smile more. staff needs to check the toilets more often as it needed cleaning up.
