I would like to say a big thank you for the outstanding service I have received from my GP and other Health Care Professionals over the past few months. Very pleased indeed. Thankyou Jayne Bradley

Dr Azam is fabulous I had 2 of my daughters unwell and I popped in to the surgery past 4pm and I didnt expect to even have an appointment at all and he saw both of them as on call appointments. Just another mention to the receptionist. (I think her name is nicola) she is very approachable friendly and very proffesional I am super impressed with the service thank you

The staff are very helpful. My only criticism is with the length of time it takes to get an appointment. My friend who lives in Thornhill Dewsbury can get an appointment with a doctor sometimes the same day but no more than three days. I understand it varies between areas but we are told the earlier we can identify a problem the better chance of tge cure.

I called today and this particular lady who answered the phone acts like she is a doctor, she tried giving advice on medications and important matters that need GP approval. I have spoken with this lady before and she has an unprofessional clever attitude, it appears she will do her best to put you off speaking with a doctor however, the other staff on reception and the doctors i have previously dealt with have always been nothing but polite and helpful.

Impossible to get appointments, and if you get one, you won’t be seeing a doctor in person! It will be a nurse or dr over the phone. But good luck! I called daily first thing for 4 days. I never had the option to see a dr in person even when 111 said to see a doctor that day due to the severity. They didn’t offer one the next day or the next. Weeks of this health issue went on and I only ever could see a nurse or a dr over the phone which wasn’t possible as they needed to look at it in person. My health issue went on longer than it should. Worst part is they removed online appointment booking for Covid, and never added it back! So good luck if you can’t call due to health or if your health means you can’t be up in the morning. They claim it’s for triage reasons but that’s not true at all as receptionists aren’t medically trained so they can’t triage you. It’s inaccessible for disabled people to have to call first thing and even if you call there is no appointments. Add online appointments back At the very least for disabled people!

Taken my little one for pre school vaccinations. From having his name called in the waiting room to the goodbye our nurse Anthony was absolutely incredible. Total asset to the practise. Anthony also saw my older son for an asthma check and was equally as great. Thank you

So I feel I must share my death sentence that was handed to me by a Dr at this surgery. Thought I was loosing my mind, I knew something was not right , so many things that I had to write a list. The Dr said one appointment one item off of your list ! She then told me it was all in my head !!! I have terminal cervical cancer! Thank you for my death sentence and no life to look forward to.

Can't praise them enough. Managed to get an emergency appointment within 10 mins on New Year's Eve afternoon. Saw Dr Hammond who suspected appendicitis & arranged immediate admission to HRI. Her diagnosis was confirmed & I had my appendix removed on New Year's Day.

My mother was a patient here for too long. She now suffers from dementia. She has received almost no medical care or support from them whatsoever (despite a diagnosis from her GP at this practice). Even when she was in crisis I had to literally beg (I'm not being overdramatic here) a GP to visit her even after the Mental Health Team had Stepped in too. She was sectioned again in May (it's now sept) and I've just had a call from this practice to ask where she is because 'she hasn't picked up her blood pressure tablets for a while now!' THIS is the level of care you can expect from this practice. Not enough doctors (even the most senior one is part time and barely ever there)and too many patients, no communication and very poor care. This is not an isolated case..go read other reviews. Good luck getting an appointment too! You health, and that of your love ones, is the MOST important thing.. do yourself a favour ..take my advice and walk on by - you can thank me later.
