A very homely, welcoming place. Extremely clean, and close to the city centre. Felt like I was at home every time I went back to the House.
Really great location, offered a standard BB breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and helpful with late checkin. Bedroom was clean, decor dated, unfortunately fan only worked while main light was on. Bedroom suited my needs with single beds
I’m a self employed courier who stays out 3/4 nights a week yet this is the first time I’ve been approached by a staff member in the car park as I’m getting out of the van complaining that I can’t park my van in the carpark. I’ve never met such a rude, hostile and argumentative B&B host.
Standard room, cheap price. The person who greeted me at the desk was fantastic informed me of everything I needed. He moved me to a better room as they weren't fully booked out for the night. Bed was comfortable. Price was good would definitely stay again. Good location.
Clean, smart and with a very nice breakfast. I must admit I struggled with the road noise but for most people it'd be fine. You could always pack some ear plugs just incase. Would stay here again for sure!
Owner was very accommodating as we arrived early...no problem. Gave us useful info on York and it's attractions. Bus stop just across the road, free parking, decent breakfast and our room was spacious and clean.
Had a girly weekend in York with my mom and sister, booked in here as its close to York and you can get the bus in. Very clean rooms, great breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely book here again. Full 5 stars x thank you for a lovely weekend x
Lovely little b&b, not too far from the centre of York and is near the bus stops which take you straight in. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a good size and very clean. Owner was very helpful and gave us lots of information about york. Nice and quiet and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast consisted of cereals, fruit, Granola and yogurt along with a cooked breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
