   A great guest house. The host was friendly & helpful. The room was clean & comfortable with a homely atmosphere. Perfectly situated, only minutes away from the centre of York & the main tourist attractions. I'm very happy to have found this place & I would definitely stay here again in the future.    Was met with a lovely welcome from Heidi and my room was clean and warm had everything that I needed. Greg and Heidi were lovely hosts and have a beautiful guest house, so close to the centre of York. Will definitely be returning as I need to try there lovely breakfast that they offer. Anyone looking for a guesthouse this is your place xx

   Lovely guest house - convenient for town and parking on site. Greg was very welcoming. Bonus feature was the gorgeous Victorian tiled floor! Breakfast served to the room which was unusual but also a treat! No hesitation in recommending!

   This is a beautiful place to stay in York! Heidi and Greg were so welcoming and helpful. My en suite room was perfect for my trip - the bedroom and bathroom were immaculate and stocked with everything I needed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! It’s in a great location, about a 20-minute walk from the city centre or a short bus journey. I cannot recommend this place enough!

   Location was perfect for a weekend break in York. There's a lovely walk along the river from the guest house which takes you straight into the centre in about 10 minutes. Rooms were comfortable and we had a great night's sleep as it's in a quiet location. Would definitely stay again

   A comfortable large room. Plenty seating so you didn't need to sit on the bed. A powerful hot shower. Bed was king-size and very comfortable.Tasty breakfast. Loved the baps. Great walk along the river to the centre of York. A lovely 15minutes stroll. We ate at the nearby Plough and Masons Arms. Both had good food and made us welcome. On our return it was lovely that the heating was on as it was chilly October evenings. Thank you Greg and Heidi for having our cycles undercover. We will definitely return.
