It was extremely delightful to stay there. I was totally satisfied with the room, facility and everything. One thing that stands out the most was the service. The staff at the reception, Carla. She welcomed me and my wife with the kindest smile and made sure we had a pleasant stay. We appreciate the service.
We stayed here for just the one night and again we were blown away by the staff. The hotel is modern and stylish. It is suitable for every type of traveller. The staff are exceptional at this Dakota Hotel, we have stayed at others but always find this one to be top notch. All the staff from the bar and grill are friendly and efficient. A big shout out to the blonde receptionist (Emma, I think) who was having a difficult day but was courteous and welcoming. She deserves a raise. A big thumbs up to everyone though.
I have been several times now for food, and each time the service and food has been absolutely faultless and Dakota is my favourite places to dine out in Leeds. Most recently I went for Sunday Lunch and the experience again lived up to the standard of all my previous visits. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout to our host Annie, who was absolutely fantastic: friendly, professional, and helpful throughout. The meal itself was a delight. We opted for the three-course Sunday lunch, and at just £40 per person, it was exceptional value. Every dish was beautifully presented, packed with flavour and great portion size. The sticky toffee pudding is a must to try if you go. The venue itself also needs a shout out as it's just as impressive as the food. Stylish, modern, and contemporary. It offers a sleek yet cosy atmosphere and is leagues above most other restaurants in Leeds. I honestly can't recommend dining at Dakota enough and I can't wait to go back for my next visit.
Outstanding , is the word that describes our stay. We stayed on the Sunday deal that includes breakfast and late check out. The Hotel check in staff have exceptional customer service skills. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and smells amazing. Room was beautiful. Bar ambience was good. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return
I stayed at Dakota this month for three nights for my wedding. We booked the biggest suite in the hotel and it was absolutely amazing. The team here are something special, they all care about their job so much and made our and our guests experience an absolute joy. The suite was worth every single penny and is truly luxurious. Without a doubt this is the best hotel in all of Leeds and surrounding areas. I will recommend you to everyone. Thank you so so much for making our wedding stay one to remember forever ❤️❤️
Absolutely lovely hotel. Amazing rooms, good staff and a very good location in Leeds. Close to it all. The staff couldn’t have done more to make our time pleasurable and I can’t wait to come back some time. The breakfast was really good too
This is one of those hotels which might not come up based on a star rating based filter, the reality is people forget that start ratings mean facilities and you can have a bad heavily starred hotel. This hotel is an exceptionally good city stay hotel for business and pleasure, rooms are as good as any at this rate and if you eat in the restaurant is better than some independent restaurants at the same sort of per head cost. I would say its straight forward value for money and I would stay her again the next time we come to Leeds.
This hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk to the Trinity shopping mall, nearby restaurants and Q-Park. Beautiful looking building, gorgeous scent as soon as you enter the lobby and the staff are very professional and welcoming. Easy online check-in and a decent £7.50 discount off the £25 24hr parking. The room was super clean, stylish decor and has a nice relaxing/romantic vibe. Large wall mounted TV with free Sky TV included, big open shower and although the entire hotel is very dark throughout, it's unique and works well. I would definitely stay here again and other Dakota hotels in future. 5*.
I recently met with friends for afternoon tea in the bar at Dakota Hotel. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful on the phone when I was booking our table. We were really well taken care of by the amazing Vincent in the bar. He gave us a really quiet table, but didn’t forget about us. It was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to return. Oh yes, and the afternoon tea was delicious!
I stayed in one of the Suite Rooms. The room was spacious with a complimentary minibar which was very useful after a full day's work. A lovely sitting room area to relax, too, and the bath was bliss. Only 8 mins walk from the train station and plenty of restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Perfect location.
