   Have been using this practice in Urmston for the last 40+yrs, over which time l have had 7 cats, currently have 2 named Buddy & Holly. I have always and continue to receive good service. Visited today for annual check up with vet & vaccinations. Calm and visibly clean environment. Staff are professional and pleasantly engaging as ever. Buddy & Holly treated gently by vet who appeared genuinely interested in their wellbeing. Big thankyou and keep up the good work. I would highly recommend this veterinary practice based on my experience.

   All the staff and vets at this practice are amazing. Our DaxiJack has been having issues with her ears the last 6 months. Everyone here really cares about the animals under their care. Special thanks to Dan for all the care and attention he has given to our dog Pickles.

   Today was our first time visiting Buchanans Urmston with our 12year old Husky, who suffers from arthritis. Gaby the vet was fantastic with Nyla, the consultation wasn’t rushed and Gaby explained all the options available for Nyla. You can tell they really care for the animals here.    This veterinary practice is amazing. Tonight we had to phone them to get an emergency appointment for our cat. Our own vets had refused to see her. They stepped up and got her seen straight away. Such kind, caring staff who looked after us all too. They stayed late on a Friday night to ensure she was okay.

   Friday 13th ! January 2023 Appalling service I rang Buchanan’s Urmston to book an emergency appointment for my small dog. I was told they would ring me back, after speaking to a vet. The receptionist rang me back and told me, they could see my dog at 4:30pm. I took time off work and left home, as I work remotely, at 4:15 to get there on time for 4:30. I was told that I was late and my appointment was at 4pm ?! I clearly was misinformed as I was definitely told 4:30pm. The Manager of the Practice came out to see me and told me the vet could not see my dog. Complete uncaring attitude and totally incompetent Receptionist. I will never go back there. It’s a disgrace.

   Thankyou for getting me in straight away today when I phoned about my very unwell hamster Penny. We arrived and the vet was waiting and explained everything to me before we got Penny put to sleep. She was 2 years old so it was time for her and seeing her so unwell was very upsetting but im relieved we could get her to the vet’s. Thankyou Buchanan.

   Expensive, but arn"t all vets? They saved my little dog by giving her the meds she needed rather than being fobbed off by another well known vet chain. The vets are really caring and genuinely love animals.
