Had a terrible experience at this hotel. The room was ancient, and the bathroom was in such poor condition that Iām honestly not sure how this place is even allowed to sell rooms. On top of that, I heard strange noises throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep. Overall, it felt unsafe and unhygienic. I definitely would not recommend staying here.

This is great as a very bare bones hostel. The highlights were the very friendly staff and the £7 Full English Breakfast. Room was clean and as advertised but expect a very small room up steep stairs and tiny shared bathroom. A bit of a smell (from cigarettes?) and rather old fixtures. But for what I needed (a cheap place near the university) it was great. Just don't expect luxury!

Very good value if you're just looking for somewhere cheap to spend the night. No real complaints with my room, the bed was comfy and the linens good quality and clean, and it had tea and coffee in the room. It was however fairly shabby throughout and although the room was clean, the shared bathroom was pretty dirty. Appreciated that you can have a light breakfast for a couple of quid. Staff were pleasant. Peak "you get what you pay for" but I'd stay again next time I'm at a gig nearby. Not the place to go if you want a nice break but it does the job.

Me and 2 other friends decided to stay here and were happy to find a cheap place. However, once we arrived we found black mould covering the bathroom. There was also stale crisps under some of the beds. Checking in went well but during the evening we were yelled at by the worker (old man) who told us to 'be quiet and go back in your room.' When we tried explaining we were outside to meet a delivery driver for food he interrupted by telling us to shut up. We had been outside for just a couple minutes talking quietly to each other. The only positive about this place is the location and possibly the price. We would never consider staying here again.

Looks much better in the pictures than the reality. Quite old and dirty... Staff is very nice. I would say it's good for a short stay (one night or two).

Incredibly low price. So you have to take that into consideration a little cos it is a case of "you get what you pay for". The room I had was tiny, but it did the job. The biggest issue for me was how dirty the floor was. In the room, in the bathroom, pretty much everywhere. It's so bad we wore our shoes whilst walking around. You don't wanna touch it barefoot. Seriously, clean the carpets it'll make the hotel 100 times better. The beds and towels and everything were spotless though. There's parking on the property which is a massive plus, and it's free so you'll save a lot of money there too. It's in a good location. And the hotel has a bar which, is surprisingly cheap, maybe the lowest prices I've ever seen. So if you like drinking, the bar is a massive plus. Tried the breakfast. Was good. The staff were incredibly friendly, probably the friendliest staff I've ever seen in any place ever. Was refreshing. So yeah, it's basically a 5/5 in most regards, but the room itself, and the shared bathroom just let it down really. Needs a good clean. Also we never got the TV to work in our room. Think it's just buggered.

Cheap and cheerful, basic but clean room slept well and the bathroom was across the hallway which didn't cause any inconvenience plus there's a washbasin in the bedroom. Breakfast good freshly cooked and good value.

Friendly welcome but that was as good as it got. Avoid at all costs. Rooms were clean but decor was grotty. Shared shower and toilet rooms which were disgusting. Didn't end up staying the night, got a taxi home and picked the car up the next morning. I don't think we'll stay there again.
