Great little hotel on Otley road in Leeds. Had an early hospital appointment for a relative so decided to stay overnight as we live an hour and a half away. The hotel has ample parking, comfy beds, great showers, helpful staff and fabulous WiFi. Reasonable price too, nothing extra for parking like a lot of others. Great Indian restaurant attached and you get 10% off as a resident. Would definitely stay here again should the need arise.

Trip to Leeds to take part in the Otley Run (of pubs!). The Ascot Grange is perfectly located at the start of the run and everything was spot on. Easy parking, clean and tidy room, Olla (hope thats spelt correctly) on the front desk was a very nice chap and had a great stay. Many thanks! Mike

We stayed 5 nights at the Aston Grange hotel . The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed is of a high quality . The white bed linen and towels were spotless as was the modern bathroom. The staff were extraordinarily helpful , friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome . The continental buffet breakfast is excellent value at £7.99 . The hotel has a free car park with two charging points for EVs Easily , the best value accommodation we have experienced . The location is excellent. Just a short bus ride to Leeds City Centre with buses every 10 minutes . Headingly itself is a very pleasant suburb of Leeds. We would certainly stay there if we ever visit Leeds again . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel

Just returned from this hotel, my room was a bit tired but looks like its had a lick of paint recently. The noise from adjacent rooms side and above was loud but not anti social just poor sound proofing. The floor boards creaked when walking and also the sound from toilet flushing and shower was clear to hear from other rooms. The hotel is a great base if you want to visit the city nearly all buses go straight to the city centre (£2.50). The guy at reception seemed nice enough and told me to ask if I needed anything. I have visited the attached Voujon restaurant loads and is fab. All in all a good stay at a budget hotel.

A really decent stay here. The room was actually really nice - clean, modern, incredibly comfy and good quality pillows and bed. The bathroom was perfect and equipped with nice smelling soap (bring any shampoo etc as only soap is provided). The wardrobe had lots of hangers which was great for me. Seamless and easy check in with someone at the desk early morning until 10pm. The building is then locked from 10pm and you have a key to get in and out which made it feel quite safe. The road gave off no noises as well. Cleaners came in every day and replaced towels (if you wanted them to be) and the place was given a clean up which was a nice touch. The teas and coffee's were also replenished. The only problem is that I didn't put items in the bin which were taken which I was a bit annoyed about, such as a big plastic water bottle I refilled which had obviously been thrown in the bin despite me leaving it on the desk. Please can you not do this to other guests as all of the items I wanted disposed of were put in the bin. The only downside of this place is the loudness of the restaurant below - it closes at 11pm and then the cleaning/ close down of the business is done which is INCREDIBLY loud. Tables, chairs, and doors being slammed constantly until midnight which kept me awake. I thankfully brought ear buds with me otherwise this would have woken me up every night of my 3 night stay. Overall, a good stay and i'd stay here again.

Great place to stay . Went to a do at the Village Hotel who were charging astronomical prices for their rooms . If I ever go there again I will always book to stay at Ascot Grange . Clean rooms , comfy beds & all you need for a nights stay .

I used this place as a cheaper option whilst being in Harrogate at a convention. It was only 30 minutes away and a lot cheaper than any other accommodation and so was not expecting much, I had a single room, which was tiny but comfortable the single bed was really comfy, (I had the best night's sleep I've had in ages) and the place was clean and well maintained, there was an ensuite with shower which was really warm and service was very polite and communication top notch. The area was lovely and quiet and the restaurant attached to the hotel had good food. I would definitely recommend it to anyone else on a budget and wanting a restful and comfortable place to stay,

Booked a single night here. For £50 in December , in Leeds I wasn’t expecting the ritz. I will be honest, I was surprised. Yes it’s an old building with old rooms but they were clean, warm, spacious, the shower/toilet room was compact but usable. I’ve stayed in worse travel lodge / premier inn rooms that cost a lot more. Will I come back? Yes I will. Staff were lovely. Great communication when booking a room. It’s a good location for work and has an amazing Indian restaurant next door.

Fantastic hotel, excellent value. The lady on reception, who greeted us, was warm and friendly. The room was nice and clean, with sufficient provisions (e.g. towels, tea bags, kettle). Nice comfy bed. Importantly, as it's winter (at the time of the review), the heating was on in our room when we arrived and when we got back from our gig, so it was lovely and toasty. I'll definitely be booking here again next time I am in Leeds. Thanks again.
