First time visiting 3 Acres and it didn't disappoint. The food was excellent. I had the crispy partridge and it was outstanding and the roast sirloin was excellent. The wine choices by the glass were rather limited but overall the wine list was good if you weren't driving and could opt for a bottle. The service was a little slow at times (4pm Sunday) but overall I would absolutely visit again.

An amazing experience! The rooms are very clean, quaint and characterful, the main eating bar area is very traditional/old worldly pub vibe, and the staff are exceptional. The receptionist in the evening was very friendly and lovely, and the chef who is Hungarian was an absolute pleasure to chat with at the bar as he was working. The food was outstanding!

After being regular diners at the three acres before the fire we finally got round to visiting the refurbed restaurant. Hearing mixed reviews from family and friends we went with an open mind… and we are glad we did. The food, service and setting was just as good as ever, with new interior and oyster bar. We couldn’t fault anything, the restaurant was at full capacity yet we still found the service was on point, a credit to Terry and his team. We will be back again and hopefully the venison will still be on the specials menu!

A real pleasure to be back at 3 Acres after covid and the fire! The rooms have greatly improved, they now are beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom too was beautiful ...but terribly cold. Lunch and dinner were excellent, service as well.

First time visiting since the re-opening, and it did not disappoint! We were given a great table and immediately impressed by the fantastic staff β€” friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive throughout the evening. Despite it being a very busy Saturday night, the service was seamless. There were plenty of staff on hand, all knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, which really elevated the experience. The food was of high quality and absolutely delicious. This place is perfect for celebrating a special occasion. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, and everything from the service to the presentation felt polished and well thought-out. Highly recommend!

We went for a meal for a birthday this evening and I can’t recommend the 3 acres enough. The service was amazing (with many thanks to ellie) we had recommendations on the menu and wine. Every meal served was 10/10. Would definitely come back again

The table had been reserved with Β£50 deposit in advanced for the New years eve sampler menu. When arrived on time we were placed by the fire exit even though the restaurant was not full with plenty of empty tables with much nicer tables in the restaurant and asking to be moved further into the restaurant we were moved to the next table with the fire exit door at the back of us. The restaurant remained less than half full throughout our stay.I was originally told that it was to be a sampler menu.Having been to other notable restaurants on the Michelin guide and had a sampler menu we were surprised that it was a set menu with only two choice allowed for each category starter main and dessert.Having heard much about the standard of food at this establishment I expected to be surprised however felt somewhat underwhelmed and felt that the options available could have been quite easily made by Marks and Spencer meals. The chef amuse Boucher being a bland Mac and cheese!the starter beef and main course Halibut were good but small portions and the dessert literally reminded me of chocolate bomb that M@S did a few years back. This was followed by a cheese board and wafers which we then had to ask for more wafers since the biscuit between us was inadequate and portion were small.finally coffee with chocolates. Although the waitering staff were very polite and professional and I gave them the additional gratuity for new year I cannot say that I enjoyed the new Years eve meal.I would suggest that anybody who reads this review reserve caution if they seek book a meal for a special occasion in the future.

I hired a private room for a family function to celebrate a birthday. The room was well laid out and provided a warm and intimate setting. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco although some of us sneaked in a pint of Timothy Taylor’s Landlord beforehand. The member of staff who looked after us for the evening was incredibly hard working and ensured that every request was met quickly. The choice of menu was good as was the wine. Some of our guests stayed overnight and they tell me the rooms were of a very good standard and reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed the family celebration and we were very pleased to have chosen the 3 Acres.

What a fantastic venue this is with such warm and helpful staff!! My daughters wedding took place this weekend and I felt compelled to leave a review. Both the bridal suite and bedrooms in general were large, comfortable and well equipped. The wedding took place at the venue and went smoothly with any help required from the staff, given with a smile. Both the wedding meal, buffet and breakfast were really goo quality, tasty and once again served with a smile! At Β£90.00 per night for a large double room with extra bed and including lovely yorkshire breakfast, I couldn't fault it. Both my daughter and my new son in law had the time of there lives and so did I! Thank you so much
