   I love my hair!! Manti is such a beautiful soul. She took her time to wash my hair properly, blow dry it! Never has anyone done a strand by strand blow-drying for me. Ensuring that my hair is fully detangled and well blow-dried. All with NO PAIN! No pain at all. She lives up to her name. Also, my cornrows are lovely, neat and painless. Thank you so much! I’ll recommend a million times and I’m making her my hairstylist permanently now.

   For years I’ve wanted an experience at a hairdresser that did not involve aggressive tugging during blow drying or excessively tight plaiting followed by my scalp needing a few days to adjust! Well finally I have found the place! I had my first experience with Mante at The Gentle and Soft Hands hair salon yesterday and I’m delighted to say it has lived up to its name!!    I recently visited The Gentle and Soft Hands Salon for two strand twists, and I was thoroughly impressed by the level of care throughout experience, the salon provided a calming and welcoming atmosphere. The owner worked with remarkable gentleness and finesse. There was no pulling, tugging or twisting of my hair that I could feel as she was styling. Calling and booking the appointment was easy and straight forward especially for being short notice on my part as I had it done the day before my graduation within the same week. I highly recommend this salon to anyone seeking high-quality Afro Caribbean hair care.

   I am quite particular about who I let touch my kids hair, but with Manty I can trust that both my daughters will leave with hair that has been well cared for and styled. Manty and her team have gentle hands, which is proven by the fact that my 5 and 2 year old have never complained once, even while their hair was getting blow dried. I keep taking my girls there as I know I can rely on their level of service which has been exceptional each time! My 2 year old has been asking when we can go back to Aunty Manty’s so I’ll be booking an appointment soon :).

My daughter had her hair done professionally for her 1st time and was nervous but within 5mins was totally comfortable.    I take my daughter to this salon every 4 weeks. The service is excellent and my 4 year old daughter has never once complained of the braids being too tight. We have tried many different styles with cornrows and box braids and my daughter always looks amazing. Manty is a very talented lady and I highly recommend her salon.

   My daughter was so pleased with her hair, the service was professional, friendly and helpful knowledge and tips were offered. My daughter has had a bad experience at a salon in the past which has put her off going to another salon for a long time. Now we have found Almant Hair & Beauty Salon, we know we have found a hairdresser that cares. She was so gentle and my daughter was smiling the whole time. Highly recommended.
