I cannot praise the service received at Forest Medical enough, I had a minor operation 2 weeks ago, unfortunately my results mean I needed urgent referral to the hospital. Result was actioned as see GP in the same week, I was contacted by reception team booked an appointment for the same afternoon. The GP was compassionate and attentive, explaining the results, completing the urgent referral and reducing my fears. Thank you Forest Medical keep up the great work.

Started a phone call at 6:07 and was caller position 2 in the queue. Moved up to 1 and then at 7:08pm the phone was disconnected and went dead. my elderly mum is staying away from home currently (and has temporarily registered at that new location) and needs a prescription. Went to the local doctors and asked to collect the script before 6:30 tonight. It was allocated to rosemary st so the local pharmacy can’t issue it. Hanging on the phone for an hour isn’t cool neither is being cut off!!!

Just come out of an appointment with Dr McGlashan, he was really attentive and listened to me thoroughly, didn’t make me feel any type of way or diminish my concerns (unlike some doctors I have spoken to). He explained his concerns to me and sent me a link to read about what I went in for, booked me in for blood tests and prescribed me medication. :)

I have a long term medical condition that means I need to have annual medical and medication reviews. I often have to wait weeks or months for an available appointment, and then they will send me a text to say "unfortunately" the appointment had to be cancelled, and I need to ring and rebook. I've had this happen so many times it's ridiculous! Can't get through on the phone to rebook without waiting for half an hour in a queue either. If they need to cancel a prebooked appointment, they should phone me and rebook it there & then! My annual review this year was due in June. I finally got my first part in September. Part 2 was booked for October but has been cancelled. I have to have a medication review done separately because the clinicians doing my medical review are not authorised to review my medication at the same time apparently. That (telephone - not even face to face!!) appointment has also been cancelled. The whole thing is an absolute farce. On the plus side, if you do manage to get to see someone, they are usually really nice.

Been with this GP ever since i moved to Mansfield. I call as soon as the appointment window is open, i wait in a queue for 35 minutes and once i get through, i am told there are no more appointments and that i need to call back at 12:30 or try again tomorrow. I’ve had a previous experience with a female GP who GOOGLED MY SYMPTOMS right in front of me which i could’ve saved myself time and done myself. Absolute waste of space, need better GPs that dont google a patients symptoms. However, The receptionists are always lovely to me but that’s the only thing decent about this practice. Wish i could leave less than one star.

This has been my doctors all my life, they are amazing I've had to go there more times than I can remember especially in recent years and have always had the best service and treatment available, for example I recently found a lump had an appointment and had a scan within 48 hours fortunately with good results, they have taken care of me so well and I cannot thank them enough.

Just a quick message here to say how grateful both my wife and I have been with the exceptional help and experiences whilst visiting Rosemary St surgery. As a result of experiencing many years with at times, poor health conditions, the journey has become so much manageable with the help assistance from a variety of both medical and admin/reception staff on hand throughout. There where many times when I didn't require help and assistance from a GP, so being able to see Jane Hopkinson, Nurse Practioner, freed them up for others to access, as she was able to assist me with my medical needs. When we see and hear on the local and international news bulletins that many people cannot get doctor appointments for love nor money, I just wonder, why people are having so much trouble trying to see a doctor. I have not once struggled to see a doctor in all the years I have been under R St S; that is why my mum, wife & friends are all under their care. Many thanks to: The Co owners, Dr Smith, Dr Park, and all other doctors inc nursing staff. big thanks to: Jane Hopkinson - Nurse Practitioner Reception ladies to mention: Linda Kristy & all the others Where would we be without these tremendous individuals. Long may it continue.

Five stars just because Dr Mcglashan is fantastic. Very well informed and has helped me with issues other doctors didn't/couldn't.

My mum has been on hold since 10am its now 1.35pm and she's still 11th in the que! keeps going from 1 to 6 then 11 as if they're just making it up as they go along! then it cut off. Absolute disgrace, needs more reception staff! and parking is a nightmare.

I have just rang the surgery literally. My symptoms have been just compleatly dismissed by the receptionist i quote 'so you havent even had it 48 hours, il check with the Dr and ring you back.' I am a registered nurse and know the difference between what is a bug and what may be something extra I just needed the Dr to provide something to help with keeping fluids down! I am severely dehydrated and in pain! It really does make me angry that I have had to ring 111 to get an appointment with my own GP! No patient should ever be dismissed or be be made to feel that they are making it up, it's called compassion. I will say being a nurse toughens you up and I will only ring the GP if I am seriously desperate!!! I am in in pain, I am continuing to vomit and can not do daily tasks like looking after my children. A phone call is not much to ask for as I just wanted him to prescribe something. Especially when 111 has literally just done your job to give me an appointment anyway at your surgery!!!! Taking time away from people that made need emergency help!
