   Lovely hotel, friendly staff and comfy beds. Also decorated for Christmas which was lovely to see and they did lots of vegan options for dinner including vegan burger, pasta arrabiatta, vegan cheesecake (please continue making this it is delicious!!) and staff were really helpful when you had special requests. Breakfast was great too although could have done with separate tongs for individual hot food for vegans or vegetarians so that we didn't have to use ones that touched meat and maybe vegan sausages would be good as an option. Also the only thing I didn't like about the room was that in the bathroom the toilet was very low down to the ground and not comfortable. Other than that, great stay would come again. :)

   The location was perfect for what we needed, the room was very comfortable and had everything required. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of choice and availability. They cooked vegan sausages on request. Dinner was not so good. They staff didn’t know about allergens on the menu, the food came out dry and over cooked. It was a very basic, microwave/deep fried meal. I would recommend the hotel and breakfast, but not the restaurant for dinner.

   When we set a date to get married the 1st venue we booked to view was the holiday inn, when we arrived we just knew it was the venue for us, so without hesitation we booked, that was 80 weeks ago. We have just had our special day on Saturday, and what a day it was. From the initial booking to the day, noting was too much trouble, Olivia was very attentive, responded to all of our questions and helped us get everything organised so our day would go without issue. It was the most amazing day. All of the staff where amazing, Olivia and Richard made sure everything ran smoothly, nothing was too much trouble for either of them or any of the staff. Even our guests said how lovely and friendly each and every staff member was. They all played their part and made sure our day went as smooth as possible and without any issues. If there was one, we didnt know about it. Thank you all again for making our day as special and amazing as it was. We would recommend this venue and the amazing team in a heartbeat. Thank you from the new Mrs & Mrs Gibson.

   Is was a great stay, with staff very attentive to a couple of issues. The way they dealt with them was world class. Would recommend this experience who ever is doing staff training/mentoring.    I got booked into this hotel by work. Previous visits to holiday inns have varied, but this one was fantastic. Nice venue and great service from all of the staff I encountered. A special thanks to Stephen, who did a tremendous job of expediting approximately 65 dinners to our group with extreme precision.

   Really nice Hotel, the rooms were lovely & clean. Really nice shower too, Beds were very comfortable and were clean as was the bedding. The staff were very Welcoming & Helpful. Breakfast was well made with a good selection to choose from. Cereal, Full English, or Continental. All in all a present stay.

   Location is very good coming off the motorway as I was coming in from Manchester, didnt have to wade through traffic in town. Twas a wedding and they used one of the ballrooms for reception and it looked good. The usual hotel reception area looked clean and the parking looked sufficient although the bay I used had the markings and lines almost eroded so entry and exit weren't clear. As I didn't stay in the rooms, I cant comment on the quality.

   Such a lovely friendly place. Staff were so helpful and friendly and there was no extra charge when they brought food to my room Excellent breakfasts. Beautifully spacious and welcoming public areas. My single room was a little short on space and my only complaint was there was no bedside light in my room (228)
