   The room was very spacious but the mattress was far too small for the bed. The hotel is very old and tired carpets are worn away. The receptionist was very unhelpful was more interested in her false eye lashes than anything else. Food was disgusting so don't pay for breakfast it's not worth it. You have to give a £10 deposit for T.v remote if you don't carry cash as we didn't they want your car keys or bank card as deposit which by the way is against the law. Please DO NOT STAY HERE it is aufull.

   There was mold in our bathroom. Room was unclean, hairs on the floor and in the bed. Service from the one staff member that had to do front desk and bar was good. But the hotel is so run down and disgusting. I kept my socks on inside the hotel room and didn’t trust the water.

   Nowhere near a 3 star hotel and certainly not worth the £90 spend! We booked a "suite" because the description said it had an eating area - we thought that would be ideal to feed our 9 month old his breakfast using travel highchair. Apparently an "eating area" is ancient sofa and limescale covered kettle. We asked for a cot (paying £10 for the pleasure). It was disgusting! Old, stained and covered in holes. So we had to co-sleep instead. The bathroom was in need to updating and we decided against using the unwrapped soap left in the shower. The TV didn't work and there was mould by the window. The only saving grace was the bed was big enough to have our baby in between us.

   DO NOT COME HERE two single beds rather than a single king which the extra pay was for in a better room Was told we would be moved to a comfier bed but then staff said hotel full booked and changed their mind again. Unacceptable. Haven't slept a wink -cold room. Heating turned off and not working, freezing at night, also unable to sleep -dirt and dust everywhere -broken shower with no shower gel -breakfasts untasty and unable to eat IGNORED DESPITE REQUEST FOR REFUND

   Though the room was enormous and PLENTY of storage space, it was very tired and beds were not comfortable at all. It was clean and spacious but would be far better improved if the comfort were to be concentrated on. I would have preferred less space and a more pleasant decor for 2022. Breakfast was lovely but again, huge eating area short staffed and hardly any crockery to help yourself to when making your own toast and drinks. I last stayed there 20years ago, things are no different at all.
