   I called in there today, for one item. However, I left with five. I could have bought more. They are well stocked.Their sandwiches are the best! Lovely staff too. AND they sell proper custard slices!

   The local Lydiate shop that stocks everything. And never seems to shut either. I've popped in at 7am for milk and called in at 10pm for bread, its amazing how the staff can stand up, never mind remain so bright and cheerful. But they do. And they remember the little things, that's what makes this place so important. That beautiful, old school, personal touch. Why line a megastore owner from America's pocket when the little hardworking fella on the corner gives so much more attention and care? I'm sure The Walton Family don't know my grandson's age, name, or medical history. Or care. Y'know what, I fancy some part baked bread rolls. Catch you later x
