Your new telephone service sucks. I tried to call the Huyton number to ask if you had a product in stock at a particular store. Service team canβt transfer me to the store nor could they tell me the stock available at that store. As a result Iβm now going to drive 20 minutes and hope for the best. Your phone service setup has really let me down ASDA.

Been eating in the cafe for maybe the last 18 months 2 years, buying food in the cafe or Asda itself and eating it in the cafe. The cafe has now been closed down and made into a Costa, we bought some food from Greggs and Asda itself and went into the old cafe now Costa when a member of staff came with an attitude and told us we can't eat our own food in there. When we told her the food was from here and we were on our lunch break it was the same pan faced attitude you can't eat your own food in here. No signs saying that anywhere. We have never been told by anyone that we could not eat our lunch there. So for her pan faced attitude we will be no longer having our lunch break in there so Greggs and Asda are losing out on a fair amount of custom and will spread the word to our work colleagues to boycott the place. I would give it a zero star rating but it won't let me.

I was banned from here for being racist. I wasn't. About 6 staff members came out with a pallet of boxed chocolates & began putting them in the back of a van. And I said " Somebody has an addiction ". Now it was a van with men of Asian appearance. And I said " Oh I see " cos I had thought they were putting them in someone's car & not being bought wholesale for a shop. I walked in & a security followed me. She said I've gotta leave the store for being racist. I go to walk out & the 6 staff members are standing there by main door. I said straight away, " Get me your manager please ". She said she was the manager. She wasn't. She showed me her staff badge. It didn't have manager on it either. It came clear to me then. She had took my comments OUTSIDE the store out of context. They threatened me with calling the police. I said " Please do ". Police turn up. I explained what had happened. They kept me outside whilst other officers went in to get their side of the story. A officer comes back out. Doesn't say nothing about racism but that I tried to attack her. Which I clearly didn't otherwise it would've been on cctv & I would've been arrested. Police said they'd be happy for me to just walk away with a lifetime ban. This happened on the 2/10/25 @ 19:45-19:50. A little miserable blonde haired girl with an terrible attitude in which even her own colleagues were telling HER to calm down. I honestly advise anybody & everybody not to go to asda Huyton. They are an utter disgrace at their jobs. The place will be a Tesco next year anyway with any luck.

Poor customer service in the restaurant we had purchased food. I went back to pur have crisps for my granddaughter and basically got shot down she was too busy and was on her own. I said I only want. To pay for some crisps she said I am on my own and too busy. I ended up getting crisps from the main shop. Because my toddler was upset when I told her I wasn't buying them from the cafe

WORSE THAN EVER I have been back today Thursday at 12.30 ish. Just when I thought it could not get worse here sadly it has. Same problem as before with the tills only worse. There was 5 manned tills open as well as the self service tills. There was massive queues at all. Again they were blocking the aisles and stopping people shopping from turning the corner. I asked at customer services to see the manager only to be abruptly told he is not here. Is nobody else acting as manager. My enquiry with customer service revealed that all the other tills have been closed permanently. They said all tills are open meaning the remaining 5 only. Whoever made this decision must be taken to task. 5 tills is nowhere near enough for a supermarket of this size. They need 12 or so open at busy times. There was 16 tills here. Reinstate the tills and open all when necessary. So Tasha Please log this is at the top management of asda and ensure that those responsible are dealt with . Stay well away from this dump until they employ competent management and staff. Truly awful place. I never seen anything like this anywhere. The lowest of the low. Your oblivious staff and management take ineptitude to a new low.

Called in this morning to be met by an army of pickers and packers but it was first thing so to be expected. First encounter was a picker in the meat Aisle who let the door go on my arm when I was reaching in to get some mince. Thought that was extremely rude but let it go. Fast forward to the ready meal aisle but couldnβt get to it as there were 3 pickers chatting and blocking the way and another one, also in the way wanting to join in. Said excuse me and without any apologies begrudgingly moved a little allowing just enough room for me to get through but as my missus walk behind me got whacked on the arm with one of the packing trollies, gave me a dirty look which my missus spotted and pointed out. We also pointed out that they shouldnβt be in the way of the Aisles chatting. Cue two of them arguing that they were taking about work (whatever that has to do with anything as they were still blocking the Aisle) so we walked away whilst they were still trying to argue their point. We asked them why they were shouting and raising their voice at us to be told they were making a point but shouting and arguing with a customer isnβt making a point. Several other members of staff turned up to see what the fuss was. We continued shopping only to be met by several members of staff looking down every aisle at us in particular one male member of staff who made a point of glaring at us whilst walking past us 3 times in the same Aisle. By this point we were both angry and embarrassed at being made to feel like criminals. We have encountered plenty of bad service at this Huyton store, heard staff arguing and swearing but have always let it go but on this occasion I felt I had to say something. Some of the staff in there can be very helpful but shouting and arguing with customers when they are in the wrong beggars belief. Totally unacceptable and absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Didnβt see the point of asking to see the manager because if they allow things like this to happen in a store they are responsible for tells you everything about the way the place is run.

Every week itβs the same, itβs rammed and thereβs only 3/4 cashiers on with massive queues. You have endless tills there that are sat empty, get your staff to use them instead of pushing people to use self service with a family shop for goodness sake! It gets worse by the week!
