A nice clean, basic budget hotel. Perfect if you are just wanting somewhere to stay near the arena. The rooms were perfect and just what we needed for a 1 night stay. Beds were comfortable. There’s a car park as well which is fantastic. Lots of options for food as well all within walking distance and Meadowhall not far away. Second time staying at this hotel and both visits we were happy with the standard of accommodation.

We were in Sheffield to see Lewis Capaldi so booked a room here as it was a short tram ride from Meadowhall, close to the tram station and a minute's walk from the arena. Staff were there to greet us on arrival and check in was quick and simple. Our room was on the fourth floor and there was an option of stairs or a small lift. The hotel was clean and the room was basic but had everything we needed for our overnight stay. We'd chosen to have the hotel breakfast the following morning, this was a self service buffet with plenty of options, toast, pastries, cereal etc and a choice of hot and cold drinks. If I came back to see another artist at the arena I'd happily stay here again.

Perfect location. Close to the Arena and Don valley bowl. Room was just right for what we wanted. They’re very basic but we only slept in there. Bed was very comfortable, probably best nights sleep I’ve had recently in a hotel. Room could do with a lick of paint but apart from that can’t complain. It was clean and the shower was of good quality with good power. Breakfast was spot on. Just the basics that you get with a continental breakfast. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. All in all a great budget hotel in a good location.

A great hotel for the price! Paid £39 on the day for a double room. Safe to say due to the price we had low expectations, however, we found the hotel to be very comfortable! Pro's: Comfy bed, room was immaculately clean and the shower was lovely. Can't hear other rooms or other people in the hallway which allows for a good night's sleep! Shower gel/face wash/soap provided. Con's: Reception staff were polite but didn't go out of their way to help with things. Hallways/the building is dated and has a musty smell (room was absolutely fine). No kettle for tea and coffee making facilities! Overall, for the price we were very satisfied. Decided not to have breakfast here but judging from previous reviews this was probably a good call!

Perfect location. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely and clean, with comfortable beds. The only thing I personally didn't like was the shower being in the bedroom. Although it had a frosted door, there was a hole in it (instead of a handle), so there wasn't really any privacy! For people who have teenagers, these rooms aren't ideal as a family room.

Basic rooms but very clean. No tea/coffee making in rooms but available in reception. Definitely will be using again when in Sheffield. Its walking distance for arena and only £6 to park so cheaper that arena car park couldn't fault it. If you only want a room to sleep this hotel is a perfect budget option.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived early and the room was ready for us to use. Location was ideal and the parking was easy. We had pizza off the menu early hours after a big night out and it was really nice and well priced. Even delivered it to our room which was a really nice surprise for a budget hotel! I left a hoodie in the room and called up to have it posted, no issue whatsoever - only had to pay postage. Everything you need in a budget hotel, nice and clean - (comfy double bed, good shower, toilet, sink, mirrors, Aircon and heating that could be operated in the room, tv. Really couldn't be happier for the price we paid!! Would definitely stay again!!

Very limited parking. When they have a busy show at the arena it would have been nice if staff could be more helpful on where you can park once their carpark is full. Not enough spaces for the amount of rooms

Having paid £232 with 10% members discount for 2 nights on a Friday and saturday. Ideally situated for the arena or meadowhall shopping centre but a small journey from city centre On arrival around 2100h I was checked in promptly and was left to wait 30 minutes because the card machines were not working. I eventually was allowed to go to my room and was told my card would be debited the following day which it was. I was given room 420 and after having lugged my luggage up the stairs because the lift was out of order (all weekend!) I got to my room. I understand its Ibis "budget" but for the price I was paying the room was totally over priced. No kettle or drink condiments. My toilet was in a separate cupboard style room and my shower opened into my sleeping area where the sink was also situated open plan in my room. The sink was small and barely adequate to wash in and was blocked. The room had a TV which was outdated. The fan heater and lighting were the only good things about the room and it was very clean. The staff were very helpful and as I always take extra coffee milk and sugar I was able to obtain a kettle from reception. Whether breakfast was included I do not know as I wasn't told about this but free coffee was available in reception area. Overall the room was way overpriced and very claustrophic. I can't say I've stayed in much worse tbh. Even though I'm a member of Accor I am contemplating staying in other hotel chains in the future.
