   I was in the Maghull store the other week and was shopping for suncream for a trip to Malta. The person who I spoke to, was incredibly pleasant and helpful. I can’t remember his name but think it was Mark, he looked a bit like Kingpin, if that helps. I would certainly recommend shopping there, if he is working.

   I last shopped in Lidl in 2001 and it was a dump. Boxes everywhere, all food labels in German and some chicken I bought was fish which wasn't fun when I cooked it. Flash forward to now and my other half forced me to try again when out and about and I was so shocked. Lovely layout, a fresh bakery, huge variety, cheap and just very pleasant. Amazed

   Visited Lidl, Maghull today & was disappointed to see a lot of my favourite frozen products not being available, together with some empty freezers & little choice. This store is normally very good but not on this occasion.

   I simply popped in, has I needed some last minute bits. So convenient to say the least. I was able to get what I needed with no problems. I am especially liking the new Lidl Plus App, it keeps a record of your spending and then when you reach a Milestone you get a reward and each week with the App, you receive coupons to use. These offers change on a weekly basis. But the best part... Is the digital receipt sent to your phone. Overall it is always nice and shop there, Staff are super friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help.

   Supermarket is outdated, staff is rude and not polite, store manager thinks he can make up rules. Always empty shelfs and very often you can't do a full grocery shop because always missing a lot of products. Fruits and vegetables are also not really fresh. I gave up after months on this and now I just cross the road and buy on Aldi much better experience.

   Plenty of parking. Good access. Wide range of goods of high quality and good price. Spent more than we intended as we were so impressed. Have shopped many times andike the prices and quality. Range can be somewhat limited compared to larger supermarkets but always has the essentials.

   Great shop, this is mainly where I’m get all grocery there is rare need to go to other shops, overall all Lidl stores are great, some of them offer different specials for limited time, sadly some items are on offers which never comes back to stores.
