   This is the worst estate agent ever, I have a family member who tried to go through with them and they were so unprofessional and rude. We asked them around 5 times about there being no blinds in the property as that is the landlords job and they did not respond to me at all, the agent over the phone threatened to take us to court for wanting to withdraw the application due to their incompetence. Instead of apologising, they threatened us and essentially forced us to take the tenancy agreement or they will sue us. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

   We sold our house through Hamilton Bower earlier this year. From the initial valuation through to the sale the staff were polite, friendly & informative. Matthew clearly knew the area and how to market the property in order for us to get a quick sale at a good price. They organised all the valuations as we didn’t want to show people around the property ourselves. We had a lot of dealings with Della at the Halifax branch and she was an absolute star at sorting out any issues and making sure she was communicating things back to us as she knew I was a worrier, she even rang on the day of completion to ask how we were coping with everything and wish us luck in our new home, which she didn’t need to do, you could tell she genuinely cared. If you are looking to sell or buy a property in the area. I would have no problem at all in recommending Hamilton Bower

   I read on Facebook about this dishonest company not too hand your property TO LET. They lie lie lie.about care of your home. Apparently 54 customers have had thousands repair their home . His reply bla bla bla and very bad story teller its not my fault its yours lol

   I viewed a property and the following day rang multiple times to try and make an offer but no one answered (It took quite a while to set up a viewing because of this issue). I therefore sent an email asking them to call me back so I could make an offer and it took them 2 days to even bother to reply and all they bothered to say is "I am sorry but this property is now under offer" ..... Every other house I've viewed the estate agents have rang me to ask for my feedback and if I want to make an offer. I wouldn't want to sell my house through an estate agent that doesn't bother to put in the effort to get you the best deal for your house and doesn't bother getting you all the offers being made. I also don't appriciate my time being wasted.

   Being a former Estate Agent myself I had very little hope of anyone doing a good enough job for me when it came to me selling my first home to buy my next one. Fortunately for me when I was getting my valuations done I booked Hamilton Bower (along with 2 more Estate Agents) and decided, after a visit from James to go with them. His attitude from day 1 was very 'can do' and I felt confident they would do a good job. What I didn't expect was the first class service I received from them. They exceeded all expectations I had in every aspect of what they did. From initially coming to value the property (arrived on time, came with all the info I needed) to putting my property on the market very quickly and smoothly. I had the pleasure of also dealing with Della their Sales Negotiator - What a lady! Ultra efficient, on the ball, a lovely lady who not only helped me with the process along the way but made me smile too. I was updated every step of the way. Every viewing I had turned up, on time and with all the info they needed. The feedback for every viewing was given the day after and even if they couldn't get hold of the viewer they called to let me know they had tried (thank you!) Hamilton Bower sold my house in 3 weeks. I found the whole experience daunting to say the least when I first made my decision to sell and move on but I can honestly say that my dealings with Hamilton Bower made the whole process extremely relaxing and dare I say, pleasurable! I would recommend anyone wanting to sell their house and deal with a caring, reliable, efficient Estate Agents, should make Hamilton Bower their first port of call. A top class service and a smile to go with it! Thank you to James, Della and Mark for all your hard work and I look forward to using you again sometime in the not too distant future!
