Staff always helpful when I've been there. Staff always working stacking shelves .this means a very buzzy shop .
I called into the store this evening with my teenage granddaughter who was hoping to post a parcel. As I walked into the shop with my granddaughter, who literally only had one foot inside the door, I was greeted very rudely and abruptly by the 2 shop assistants. They shouted across the shop as we were stood in the doorway “ WE ARE TAKING NO MORE PARCELS” I asked “why” apparently they were full…. I asked how many parcels they accept each day and I was told 40! okay, if they have no capacity to accept further parcels that is acceptable. This is not the 1st time this has happened. My granddaughter regularly gets turned away by the “RUDE AND DISMISSIVE STAFF” I suggest the staff at this small village store are offered customer service training as a priority and start to treat customers with respect. They wouldn’t have a job if they didn’t have customers to serve. This happened on 29/04/2024 between 6:0 - 6:15pm
Dark haired staff member has a really shocking attitude. Asking if they can provide cash back with my Spar purchase, I receive an answer of yes, but she won’t give me cash as she’s not giving any to people needing it for the pharmacy… don’t answer yes then!! I understand that the pharmacy card machines being down isn’t their problem, but why offer a cash back service if you won’t actually let people use it when making a purchase from Spar? Very odd that they’re deliberately not allowing people cash back when it’s for medication. I don’t think the woman with the attitude realises how negatively her rudeness can affect somebodies day & I hope she’s provided training on how to speak to local customers ASAP.
Very rude staff. Went to redeem my Energy Bill cash voucher. Staff went thru the process and scanned the voucher. When they realised they need to make a cash payment, they refuse to hand me my cash and said they don't do this here. Then tried to send me away and tell me not to come back.
Rude staff member....always awkward to deal with and no manners at all.
My local store where i get my daily essentials, the staff are really helpful and polite, I've known them now for a year since i moved here from west kirby Wirral, the manager Carl is really great he's helped me alot over the past couple of months he really looks after me which i really appreciate, he goes the extra mile to make sure I've got what i need daily they've had a couple of rough weeks due to the black out loss of power but they pulled through which is really good when i depend on the shop for local convenience and my daily needs due to I'll health so it's always nice to go in and see Carl because i no I'll be ok and he'll help me if need be so im just writing this to let everyone know how good and helpful he is, all of the staff are all good in there own way but as i say Carl goes that extra mile which sometimes i need so a big thank you to Carl for all the help youve given me over the past year next time i go in I'll post there Christmas card. Brilliant shop with great staff....everything i need in my local shop
