   Big and clean store with a lot of interesting and reasonably priced items. Visiting from the US, i found this place so much more affordable! A big tub of pure yogurt for under 1 GBP? Never heard of in the States. I bought a whole tote of fresh food for a little over 11 GBP, which lasted me for more than two meals.

   Terrible staff, starting with the manager laughing and talking about other people's lives. The staff is very young and lacks customer service training, arguing with customers, and then the manager joins in. It's clear what kind of staff this store has. Not all of them, though, but I'm giving it a one-star rating because of the poor treatment of customers services.

   Much bigger that expected inside, full of shoppers but not cramped for my shopping, stuff were friendly, guy on my till was happy and chatty. Cost of shopping was less than id expected in a City center store.

   Broadly a good selection of products, but the self-service checkouts are all card only. If you want to pay with cash, you may have to wait until someone notices you by the till/is nearby so you could request assistance.

   After today’s experience, I can safely assert that this is by far the best supermarket in Liverpool in terms of customer service. I’ve been a loyal customer of their’s since 6 months now and the way they’ve reciprocated the gratitude is beyond appreciation. A huge shoutout to Annabelle for being extremely helpful when I couldn’t pay for my shopping because my card was being declined multiple times. She carried the whole shopping cart which was really heavy and kept it aside for me so that I can come back and pay for it later. And when I came back, she made the whole payment process seem so easy!! She was kind and polite throughout! Kudos to her for being such an asset to Lidl and kudos to Lidl for hiring such amazing staff members like her! Big ups✌️

   Really busy place from 04:00PM to 07:00 PM every day. Variety of products for reasonable prices. Staff are busy with the refreshments. However they are providing good customer support. Maximum two tills are operating at any time and reasonable self checkout are available for both cash and cards. Long queues are common at busy times near the checkouts. However, better to man additional till at the busy times. Promotion campaigns are provided with Lidl plus cards. During the happy hour (09:00 PM to 10:00 PM), 30% discount on bakery items is good movement to reduce the wastage.

   The term "discount supermarket" literally fits as the description of this store. Everything is discounted when compared to items in other stores. This is so far the cheapest supermarket I have known, along with Aldi, but sometimes, other items are still cheaper here. Best recommended to get here are fresh fruits and vegetables at very reasonable price. However, be prepared to checkout on your own at the tills because they seldom open an assisted checkout counter.
