Decent supermarket with a good range of products and generally helpful staff, but it can get very busy during rush hours. Unfortunately, the toilets are incredibly smelly and dirty, which really lets down the overall experience.”

Used to be a good store but not anymore. No baskets by the entrance - have to go an retrieve one from the self scan area. Poor stock levels with empty shelve spaces all over the place. Shelves are a mess with products not in correct place - shouldn't have to get on my knees to search the back of the shelves to find unsorted products. Cages and boxes left in front of shelves so you can't get to the goods. Seems like no one working there cares anymore.

I shopped here today, such amazing choices I had. This shop has it all. Many many Christmas gifts available and all the food choices to suit all tastes. Plenty of free parking Would recommend shopping here

Customers are treated like stupid people if you don't scan and go. Seven till in store and two operational. Queues up the aisles. Don't bother.

Came to return a product to Amazon. They didn’t make eye contact. Tutted. Scanned my barcode and everything is fine and the. Couldn’t scan the barcode on their bag. They could, it was just folded. But just said sorry can’t do it. Gave no advice on what I should do next and ripped the barcode off of my package.

Visited the opticians for ear wax removal. Great professional service, everything explained in depth. All the staff were so helpful and friendly

I reckon the management must be on a nice bonus for keeping operational costs down. Never enough tills open, never enough staff helping self checkout. Store and shelves always looks a mess because no one available to tidy or clean. I like many, now do most of my shopping across the road at Lidl and use Asda for less and less. Its become far too much hassle

Dreadful customer service. I shopped here on Saturday 3rd December. Only 2 tills were open, 7 or 8 customers with full trolleys queueing at each till so rather than wait I went to the self service section for trolleys. I queued here for about 6 or 7 minutes when a till became available on the far side. Having got to the till and scanning the first item it said "card Only". The sign above the till said "card & cash" which is what I had seen from about 50 yards away. I was paying cash so after waiting for a long time to enjoy the "priviledge" (ha!) of serving myself I was stuck at a card only till with plenty more people still queueing behind me. It was so annoying, I left my trolley full of food and walked out and went to Lidl. You know what...so different, great customer service and probably saved myself quite a lot of money too. It seems to me reading the latest reviews on here that the Bromborough store is really poorly managed, the management couldn't care less, these don't seem to be isolated issues. I won't set foot in the Bromborough store again.

Awful store. Ended up getting dog poo bags for nappies because they didn't have any nappy bags. Just 1 main till open at 8pm and 3 lazy women staff, ignoring customers at the self service tills while having a good old gossip. No visible manager in sight and couldn't be bothered to wait even longer for one if I'd complained.

What is happening with this store? Going downhill very fast! Spillages on the floor not being cleaned up, shelves are half empty, out of date bread being sold, meat sold full price on use by date. Seriously - Lidl is a much better shopping experience.
