   Lidl, Seaforth, There is a older european woman on the till here, she has dark hair and her attitude to customers is unacceptable, she is so rude and is really quite aggressive in her nature, she barks at you, rather than speaks politely. I placed my lidl plus card on card scanner and it bleeped (which usually means accepted) she did not say it had not gone through, it was only on checking my bill I realised there were no coupon discounts. This is not the first time she has done this, AVOID this woman, if you are in her till queue, may I suggest you go to another till in order to receive your coupon discounts and to be treated as a appreciated customer not a hindrance. Or go to another store where your custom could be more appreciated. In my opinion she requires re- training in etiquette and how to serve customers correctly. The other staff are quite polite and very respectful and helpful.

   Just caught the security guard falsely accusing someone of robbing from the shop AGAIN, as this happened to my partner a couple of months ago too! Bare in mind on both occasions the security guard wasnt even in the shop, he was outside smoking and on the occasion with my partner, my partner wasnt even in the shop to even steal anything to begin with. My partner got sexually assaulted by this security guard under false accusations, which led to him having to go to hospital. The police cant do anything about it as apparently he "didnt have his body cam on that day", which by the way, should be on at all times but hey.. and also theres apparently "no cctv in that area" even though it was down the side of the lidl, in the car park, I thought cctv would cover the whole of the car park and lidl? Quite convenient.. spoke to the manager of the shop and he acted disgusted to our faces, advising us to report it to the police and so on, but he still allows this person to work in the shop? After sexually assaulting an innocent member of the public who had just been to use the in post lockers that were down the side of the lidl, but have since been removed. Not once did my partner step foot into that shop but got sexually assaulted for a "theft" that he didnt even commit. This security guard NEEDS to be removed from this shop, abusing his title as a security guard, hes disgusting and i wouldnt want this happening again to anyone else, but for as long as hes there i dont know how many people this will happen to. This security guard is a coloured male and without sounding offensive, even though hes a horrible man, im not a nasty person.. but in the best way I can describe, he has wonky eyes, just so people know which security guard it is and dont falsely accuse another.

   Lidl in seaforth absolutle joke keep clear of the security guard am not racist in anyway big coloured fella with wonky eyes I walked past lidl going home minding my own business next minute this security guard poped up in front of me out of nowhere and grabbed my balls thinking I have just stole from lidl I panicked because I wasn't expecting to be grabbed for walking past crushed my balls in his hand asking me what have you got in your pockets you stole from my shop he refused to let go of me after I told him I haven't stole anything wasn't even in the shop i made it clear that you are crushing my balls with your hand can you let go he didnt so I had to force him off me caused me serious issues that I had to go to hospital over it not going into to much details management at this lidl absolutle jokes dont do anything about it I have seen some reviews complaining about the same security guard only reason am putting this up now getting sick of this fella thinking he can just grab anybody he feel like, tried to report him but nothing can be done due to no camera in that area or a body cam on his person at the time just be carefull if hes even in the the lidl he mite just randomly come up and grab you thinking your stealing mite have to be careful with your nan too mostly grab her aswell thinking shes stealing lidl in seaforth get rid of this security guard as lot of people refuse to come to this lidl because of him not fair at all hes absolutely abusing his rights and getting away with it well think again mate

   I go to this store every day, but what happened to me today... I want to go out and sit somewhere quiet and have a beer. Just before leaving, I cut my finger, nothing major, but the blood started to flow. Of course, I don't have any plasters or bandages at home. I quickly put four beers in my backpack, wrapped my finger in paper and went to your supermarket to buy a plaster or bandage. I know where it could be, so I ran through the store from the door to this section, it takes about 15 seconds, I came to the end of the aisle, I turned back, I didn't find anything, so I leave, I go straight to the checkout where I stand until the lady or the young lady puts her shopping on the checkout belt. My entire stay in the store lasted only 30 seconds. I help the lady take the shopping basket and I leave. As I walk next to the security guard, I shake my head and rather think to myself: they don't have any. The security guard asks me what I'm saying... I answer that they don't have them and show a bandaged finger. The security guard tells me - show me the bag. There were of course four Budweiser beers in it, in the backpack I have on my back and he tells me that I stole it. I tell him: no! Come and look at the camera. He didn't go, he didn't want to go and check it. He called me a thief and I tell him come and check the cameras, I have no problem confronting him. Just come and show me that I stole it. He didn't go, he didn't want to go. He just told me that I have to report the goods I'm bringing into the store to him. I don't know how I should practically do that when I enter through a different entrance than he does. The security guard stands behind the cash registers at the exit. The fact that I'm a foreigner and from the Czech Republic doesn't give him the right to call me a thief or treat me like a thief, without checking the camera system. I wasn't against it and was willing to go with him to the cameras. There is definitely someone sitting at the camera system and the security guard definitely has the ability to contact the person sitting at the monitor.

   This branch is a smaller Lidl but has a decent selection of packed sandwiches cooked and fresh meats and all other general groceries. The fresh bakery items are really well presented and plentiful.

   Nothing special. Produce no bettter than other supermarkets. Don't like the till system, just throw it at you, you throw it into the trolley then pack it in bags, can't see the point. Won't be going back.

   Can we get self service checkout tills to this store? Seems like this store is behind with the rollout comparing to other Lidl’s and often because of only 1 till open creates unnecessary queue

   I'm not sure but I think this store might be closing down soon, which is a shame, the shelves are never full, always, "temporarily out of stock" or "just waiting for a delivery" with even the most basic everyday stuff. In comparison, the Bootle store it's always well stocked and well staffed. Wouldn't waste your time visiting here, just go straight the Bootle store.
