Excellent local store that I remember being built in 2016, great for fuel, groceries and all essential items, staff have remained helpful and welcoming throughout the lockdown and maintain a sensible balanced covid approach, never any meltdowns over social distancing and always happy to take cash.
Just been in the store, when one of the managers and small thin older man bumped into me. Was extremely arrogant, not keeping his social distancing to me, I pointed it out to him, and he said there’s no need to be like that, my reply was I’m just stating a fact that you’ve rudely bumped into me with no regard to social distancing. When I moved around the store he then followed me and said “excuse me could keep your distance to staff” the staff were putting the stock out at the time. I said “we’re going keeping your distance from me when you bumped into me?” “Oh that was an accident”he said. What a extremely rude arrogant man! And to think he was the store manager too! (Incident happened Sunday 7th February, 15:15pm)
Very clean place with nice staff. Got everything that I needed for a small shop. Petrol is a bit expensive, but with the raising prices, we can't blame them.
This place deserves a little review because the staff are so nice in here. It almost catches me off guard when I go in there as i'm not used to supermarket staff being so friendly and chatty. But that's not a bad thing at all, i'm just usually half asleep lol.
Decent petrol station! Well spaced pumps - you can actually park 2 cars side by side and get out! :) Good parking, ATM and free air & water. The shop is well stocked & staffed. Good selection of groceries, and alcohol etc. All in all, a very good addition to the area and a massive improvement over the previous occupants. Just a shame there isn't a jet wash anymore, which was handy for late night hose downs.
