Have FALSELY accused me of shoplifting twice after payment has been taken via debit card once via a cashier (have cctv of transaction and reciept) once self service. Assaulted me at the door (have this cctv also) and made defaming statements. Worst retailer experience of my life. Lidl 2 FALSE accusations 1 at this store 1 at leasowe road store where I have placed a more informative review and where the cctv was taken that I've spoke of here. Birkenhead store has no data on me that was disclosed upon request. Including cctv. They don't have record of debit card payments either. But I have dating back to 2021 near 400 of them. Mimimalistic company with a high disregard for the public is how I view them. Wouldn't bother with the farcical reply here, we way past that! As a customer who has paid in full. I deem the slightest forced/unwanted contact to be an assault for example ...when you make me brush past, whilst closing gaps in doors in feeble attempts to restrict or imprison (hold me in store) because you've stereotyped me, and your minds corrupt. Say what you see not say what you think? You did not see. You imagined. Consent not given by myself upon this occasion at this store. For a stop or a search. @jemma are you of low intellect? You churned out the same reply last week. To my leasowe road review with the same farcical reply.. Okay let's shut Jemma up again. Fake liar. Recognise any those pics. Now wind you neck in! Copy n paste kid. Go read the leasowe road review i like Jemma already has. 1576...that's yous init? I reckon In civil law 1 of those pictures can be viewed as libel. Can you spot which 1? If I'm speaking falsely then I would consider what ive wrote as the same none momentarily defamation. Pursuits on you Rep for a rep. Claiming back my reputation you've damaged by showing and telling FACTS (Farrah may remember that word) I'm to show assault, payment everything I state. Lidel can show nothing other than 1 libel statement. 12 months hey, soon be gone what fun to be had. You'll not get a penny but you'll see me again. Go pro live stream n all. Put your practices and people to the test Still say it see pic! Straight from a wrong mind through whole company then back out other end. Like they've more power than law. States a crime, lidl does not have the authority to make that determination of anyone. Reciept retained by manager/store on 2nd occasion, leasowe road, searched under duress and threat of police arrest. Found nothing. Refused refund made further slanderous comments on vid in my possession. Very rude very damaging Shouldn't of pressed the button Jemma

Just been assaulted by 4 male Lidl staff after using the toilet, utterly appauled, this just happened within the hour on Wednesday, 15th October. 6.30pm. When I was leaving the store after doing some shopping and using the customer toilets some idiot ran up to me shouting and helping himself to things out of the leather Boss messenger back strung over my shoulder. I told him not to do that and pushed him away. I had Β£1,000 + worth of watches in my bag, and over Β£1,000 worth of gold and silver cufflinks as well as a Β£2,000 camera and two Samsung tablets. At this stage another three male staff all joined in grabbing around the neck, taking my bag and throwing my belongings on the floor without any regard to my telling them that none of those items were theirs and they had no right to assault me or help themselves to my things out of my bag. None of them were security guards or apparently had any training with how to treat customers who had just used their toilets. Their manoevers all appeared orchestrated and when they realised that they had just assaulted a customer who had purchased Β£10 of groceries they were more disappointed than apologetic. The idiot who instigated the farce was smirking all through his feigned apology. If the manager reads this and contacts me I am sure it will be corroborated by all 4 morons who shouldn't be difficult to track down given the time and date and probable CCTV footage.

Come here often to charge the car. The fast charger good but is in high demand due to lack of them. Store open early but if you are turning up on a Sunday, the doors don't completely open until 9:30/9:45 am. The tills and self service open at 10am. Overall really good and if you have issues, can always return the item.

Never visiting again. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. A supermarket which has decent prices - but many non-standard brands for many basic items. After a number of visits, it is very difficult to find items you wish to buy as they seem to be in inappropriate parts of the shop. The consistency of products is a particularly irritating aspect of the shop. After getting into a habit or routine for months of buying a specific standard product, on your next visit it is no longer stocked. This has happened with several items and there needs to be more consistency. On the positive side, it has spacious free parking and particularly good parking for those with disabilities. There are too few staff. There is a facility to buy electricity for electric or hybrid cars. But no more visits until the buyers are more consistent. Not recommended.

Not been there before and was impressed by the layout . It was a good shopping experience. The entry/ exit is a bit awkward as it is on a busy road and close to traffic lights which cause exit to be blocked by waiting vehicles. That is a natural traffic hazard and not the fault of Lidl.

Lidl need to sort out dairy and sandwiches section… can’t find lunch with sausage, cheese and olives… not available BUT in M&S. sandwiches always on the top shelf and this Lidl has office centre next door. I am helping others to move sandwiches down to select and being ask by personnel to put them back on the top shelf so no one can get what is needed. Weird behaviour from Lidl staff. Middle management need to be on a shopfloor as a coaches … not on the coaches

Nice store but crazy to close at 4pm on Sunday. 5pm closing at the earliest is more reasonable. Also due to its location the electric car charger is very popular and always in use, please consider adding more of the Pod Point fast 50kw chargers. (only one at the moment)

Just check the prices on your receipt. One price on the shelf and another going up at the till. Always the same excuse, sorry sir someone did it wrong. Devolution Β£2.14.

Have most of the stuff we need and usually at a better price. Tiger bread and croissants are the best we've found. Staff always helpful.
