Saw them with Opera North. Not convinced this contributed much worth seeing. Lots of random movement distraction. Many reviews are enthusiastic but I couldn't see the point...

Beautiful theatre, slightly smaller than expected but not a bad thing at all!
Stunning energy in their performances in York last night. Unseen and Rite of Spring now embodied as Voodoo trance. I'm a big ballet fan but these performances blew me away. Will definitely be looking to see Phoenix again.
Open Adults Classes, brilliant studio, fantastic teachers, fabulous pianists.

Excellent touring contemporary dance company. Phoenix performs at their home in Quarry Hill, Leeds (the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre) local venues West Yorkshire Playhouse and Leeds Grand Theatre and also tours around the country and further afield.
